Hi everybody!I have been consulting some tutorials in the communities ptc website and I found something that I think it could be pretty useful for me, however some steps they suggest to take are impossible for me to execute since I don't have a "Tag Templates" option in my Tools menu :'( I don't know why is that? They said they're using Arbortext 5.4 M080, where I could find this information in my Arbortext? or Does anybody knows why I didn't have this option visible?As always, I really appreciate your time and support, and your availability to share your experience with the people in this forum.Best Regards.Paulette Zorrilla

Currently we are running on XP, where Documentum Desktop 5.3 can be installed. We are looking at upgrading to Windows 7 where desktop is not compatible. We've found that we have to upgrade to the WDK adapter, but cannot find any information on how to do so. Can anyone point me in the right direction? We need to get the WDK installed and running. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've got two floatlocs for repeating Titles and Columnheads and I've been having trouble with them disappearing in one section only of my document, the last set of tags for that section. (Styler 5.4)Tags are:xxxx<codedesc><codetitle>xxxx</codetitle><description>Blah blah blah blah<note><para>Blah blah blah blah</para></note><brk>Text</description></codedesc>I was trying to keep <codetitle> and <description> on the same page. When I added a keeps, they stayed together but then floats disappeared on the last page. If I hardcoded in the repeating titles, both titles and floatlocs showed up so I had sets of two repeating titles. If I took out the keeps, the description moved to the last page but the floats came back. Now I added extra spacing so they're on the same last page without the keeps, but the floats disappeared again anyway...Thanks for any advice!Regards,Caroline

I'm tasked to create a new book using the latest version of MIL-STD-2361D and the latest dstyle xsl-fo stylesheets. So far, most of the formatting I've tested looks pretty good, but I'm seeing a couple issues with the Chapter Title pages. For some reason, the Chapter Title pages are putting a double TM No in the header and are not producing the Chapter # in the title. I'm hoping someone who is familiar with the STD and Stylesheet might be able to help me figure out if this is my tagging error or a stylesheet issue. I am assuming that the stylesheet is supposed to auto-generate the chapter number since I see no attribute that I could populate with a chapter label in the chapter module elements (gim, mim, etc). I also can't figure out why it is doubling up the TM no in the header on these title pages.Anyone using this combination or familiar with this stylesheet that could offer me some advice?Thanks,KM

I'm using Styler 5.4 and I need to have theads repeat with a continuation text. Theads already repeat if the table spans to a new page, but I need to add the text Continued to the entries within the row in the thead. I tried putting a heading element in the entry to get at the repeat title or continuation text category on the gentext tab, but that only works if the heading element is in the context of a division element and entry isn't a division. How can I get this generated continuation text to render?thanks,Steve

I’m using Arbortext 6.0 and using Windchill 10.0 to automatically create translations with the translations process, which comes with the Service Information Manager component. I have a topic (Topic 1) that contains multiple conrefs to a source topic (Topic 2). Topic 2 is translated into multiple languages. I will not need to send Topic 1 with content references for translation, since all of the text in the Topic 2 has been translated. How do I get the content references to automatically reference the translated topic instead of the English, when I get the rest of the translated files back from the translation vendor?It seems that the only way to have the translated text is to manually update all of the content references to reference the translated file in Windchill instead of the English. Hello everyone!! 😃Ok, so now I'm dealing with a new problem, I'm trying to insert some new tags in a document, however because of my doctypes this hasn't been an easy task, so I was thinking that maybe there's a way to create this tags or modify my context checking preferences in order to create my new customized tags. Do you now if this is possible? Hi, all. Did you know that the Arbortext change tracking namespace declaration in DITA topics breaks the build in the DITA Open Toolkit? Here’s the issue:Even after all changes in a file are accepted or rejected, Arbortext leaves a change tracking namespace declaration and an <info> element in the file, like so:<task id="InsertingAVaribleList-CC4AB62F" xml:lang="en" xmlns:atict="http://www.arbortext.com/namespace/atict"><atict:infotracking="off" ref="0" print="" color=""/><atict:user user="mcevallo"fullname="mcevallo" color="#8000FF"/><atict:user user="sfogel"fullname="Steve Fogel" color="#D06000"/>The DITA OT complains about the xmlns:atict attribute of the task element and excludes the file from the build.We at Oracle view this as a bug and suggest that all this code be removed after the last change is accepted or rejected. Hi all,I'm new to acl and ArborText, and I am hoping somebody here could help me with an issue I'm having.I am creating a script to manage the chunking process, where by all chunks saved to the server are saved in a folder structure that resides in the same folder where the top most file lives. so I have something likefile TopMost.xmldir allLvlOnesdir allLvlTwosdir allLvlThreesetc.When chunking a file the first time my script works fine, because I'm using "dm_browser::current_folder();" to find the base folder to append my relative path to.However when I check out a file and add say a lvlThree object to my lvlTwo object I need to put it into it's correct folder, but obviously "dm_browser::current_folder();" will be empty when checking in this file, and so it treats it as a "Windchill relative" and throws it into the Library/AllLvlThrees.My first thought is of getting the path of the parent element, and going back one directory, so something like "../parent".I'm not sure the best way to

Hello there, I was wondering if any of you could help me with this.I have a DITA file named DITA file A (topic file/ map file) which references DITA file B.Now, I have to make a change in the referenced file DITA file B, but I'm not sure if this DITA file B is referenced by other files or not.If I change the DITA file B, I think it will also change the DITA files which reference this DITA file B.Is there any way to find out if the referenced DITA file B is also used by other files?Thank you very much in advance.Tomomi

I have Javascript code embedded in a XUI dialog and I would like to see errors when something goes wrong. I think that the errors should go to the java console, but nothing ever shows up. Do I need to do something to get the errors to appear?For example I might have code like:do_something(foo);But maybe 'foo' isn't really the right variable name, it should be 'bar'. when that line of code executes, nothing happens. Program execution stops, but no indication of the error shows up in the console.I would really love to see an error like "foo is not defined" instead of having to just look through the code an imagine what might be going wrong.

I am using version 5.3. When a user brings up the Table Properties dialog, is there a way to disable the first two tabs and make only the third tab (Borders) active. I want to do this if they select the Modify Borders button on the Table Toolbar or if they select the Table Properties menu item. Thanks.

I am using version 5.3. Currently a user can right click on the menu bar and a popup menu appears that lets them hide/show the different toolbars. Is there a way to turn off this popup or capture a change. I need to do this because there is a bug where if certain buttons on the Edit toolbar are removed using dlgitem_withdraw (such as Preview), they reappear if the toolbar is hidden and then reshown. Thanks.
