About QueryNumberPropertyHistory service

for executing this service I have given start date and end date and property name which holds the value of type number, but am getting strange results, the data is not matching exactly with my time period. I am not understanding which date and time it is taking while executing. please help me out and also tell me exactly working of this service and also about the query parameter in other services.
