How can I retrieve Role of a given user in Windchil, from ThingWorx?

We are trying to pull data from Windchill into Thingworx, either using REST services or InfoEngine Tasks (webject xml). But the REST APIs found in the windchill documentation have less or no samples. Please help us. We are beginners.
