Thing wont open or delete

Has anyone ever had a thing lock up their instance?  I have a newly created thing, that when you try to edit it, just loads and loads.  If you try to delete it it does the same thing.  I can open up and get to my other items, but its odd that I can't seem to get rid of this thing.  Anyone else seen this before?
