Which version of Tomcat will be supported by Thingworx 8

Hello Every one,

Can any one confirm that Thingworx 8 can run on Tomcat with version 8.5.16.?

or we have to go for below version of Tomcat like 8.0.44

Hello, Raji.

Tomcat 8.0.44+ and Tomcat 8.5.13+ are supported. Not tomcat 9.x, though. I have myself installed 8.5.14 and it works fine.

Hi Craig,

Thanks for your response.

Our issue resolved after re installing of tomcat with new port.Now facing another issue.

We installed thingworx 8 on cloud server.

from Tomcat manager page ,its showing Thingworx application as "running".

but when we are trying to access Thingworx URL from same server machine, its coming as "redirecting"..

Can you please help in resolving this.

Hi, Raji.

What database are you using as the persistence provider? Is it PostgreSQL, or something else? If Postgres, is it version 9.4.x?
