Is there way where Suppliers should not see substitute/alternate parts added to the child parts/structure

Customer has requirement, where external Suppliers/other Suppliers should not see those substitute/alternate parts added to the child part or any part in the structure.

Using policy administration/access control, the available OOTB levers only lets us restrict actions on the object once it is already visible (Example : Read, Download, Modify, Revise, Delete) – There is no OOTB configuration path that removes the alternate row/relationship from the structure tree which can suppress the row itself from rendering in the structure.

• Confirm whether there is any OOTB configuration option that can hide or suppress the Alternate row/relationship from the structure tree.

• Identify whether there are any supported customization or extension options available to achieve the desired behavior if no OOTB solution exists.
