Hi All,I have to create a customize participant list where I can see the roles what user gave on earlier Wizard.I have one role called Releaser Role on WTPart and on top that I have one action release part . When I am clicking on that action I have to create a Participant list which contain the role what we gave While creating part.Can we achive this from tree adaptor or any other way please suggest.@HelesicPetr , @Ajit_Kulkarni 

As per the original post.    I also just had the need to check which CAD parts have changed within a CAD assembly. I did not find any easy way to do this.  

While migrating the older version of the creo drawings from Windchill to Teamcenter, we are getting some unknown sync issue, this issue is exactly happens when we did some changes on latest version of the dependencies.    For example let's say in creo DRW001.drw has the dependencies of PRT001.prt  Let's say these are the latest version available in Windchill.   DRW001.drw - 1.3 PRT001.prt - 1.3   Now we need to migrate the 1.1 version of the DRW001.drw. Also we did renaming on the PRT001.prt as PRT001_NEW.prt on the latest version (1.3)   So after Windchill extraction by "As stored" for the 1.1 version of the drawing, we facing sync issue that PRT001.prt is not in the directory.   Basically what's happening here is, when we rename the part in Windchill, it's getting renamed automatically for all the versions of the part, But in the physical file (File history of the part), it's still having the old name id.  This can be fixed by check out the par

We are deploying a new instance of windchill in a cluster, and are running in to issues deploying configurations across the cluster. Does anyone have any best practices around how do deploy configurations and customizations to a cluster? What (if any) automated tools do you use?  Thanks Martin

How do I attachment documents like PDF or word documents to the WT parts after I create them?

When will I open some drawings to make changes when I go to UPdate Values the same opens as default the notepad I can change to another type of application ? I've already set another application in Windows as the default yet to continue opening as Wordpad.

So we are doing the following for one particular customer: publish DXF and DWG using afterEDRloaderrename and copy to EPMDocument attachments (for collection in package delivery)create package containing DXF, DWG, pdf and ZIP only (ZIP to capture multisheet DXF & DWG)send package as email attachmentI can see that the zip package action triggers a package synchronisation wvs job, which looks like it re-publishes the epm document, presumably to synchronise any attributes which might have been changed since the package was created? As we are using the package ultimately to send the DXF, DWG and pdf content, how do we ensure that the DXF and DWG files are synchronised, at the moment I cant see them being republished during the synchronisation, in addition I dont see the afterloader being called during the synchronisation.

Hi AllIf CAD number and file name are different, WGM uses the filename and populates number with filename. Is it possible to use the number from CAD source to be populated in number field for Windchill

When looking at the "swagger" for servlet/odata in /Windchill/netmarkets/html/wrs/odata-to-swagger.jsp?v=4&d=ProdMgmt we can see most of the time in parameters a difinition as:{ "in" : "body", "required" : true, "schema" : { "$ref" : "#/definitions/PTC.ProdMgmt.CheckInParts.Body" } } My guess is that this means the body parameter is required and has a schema according to $ref. My question is: Where can I find "#/definitions/PTC.ProdMgmt.CheckInParts.Body" so I can see the schema?

We are developing an internal project to use the Windchill API to fill the eBOM for a given part. What we are trying to do here is to read data from another software we have to get the BOM info and send it to the part in windchill. But we cannot find an endpoint in servlet/odata to do it. 

Hello,   i just created a API class and an endpoint in Java (Using Windchill and Navigate). The endpoint is displayed in Swagger UI, executing it also returns the correct value (just a test string - no inputs for this endpoint)   Now i tried to execute it from my Navigate Thing. i added a new service in ptc windchill integration connector with AddServiceDefinition. Now the service exists and I can import it to my Thing services. But when executing i get this message: No service handler defined for service on thing windchill integration connector.   Does anyone know how to fix this?   best regards

I have an option "A" with choices "A-1", "A-2" and "A-3". The option has "Required" and "Single Choice Selection" both set to "No".The end item structure has a configurable module with module variants "VAR-A0", "VAR-A1", "VAR-A2" and "VAR-A3".I want the configurator to add only the module variant "VAR-A0" to the variant structure when none of the choices are selected. And when one or more of the choices are selected, each of the module variants corresponding to the selected choices should be added.When one or more choices are selected, the configurator works just as expected.
