ProUsers,Would there be anyone willing to share some Aluminum Materials Files? I have 6061 but would like some of the other popular alloys too if you wouldn't mind sharing them. TIA. Mike Pavesempavese@productssuppot.com
Hello,I am trying to model a coil winding: a helical layer on a former, followedby another helical layer at a larger diameter and so on.I have figured out the helical layer. I can even get it to increase indiameter as it goes along the drum. I can't get how to increase diameter andstart winding at the new diameter and in the other direction along the curveto get the second layer, then increase diameter again for the third, etc.I hope that makes sense. Any ideas? Thanks, John
Is it possible to change the width of the Hole drop down menu? Please find the attached picture. Thanks in advance,Sharath

Just read this....Effective October 28, 2010, PTC is rebranding the following existing product families: Pro/ENGINEER, CoCreate and ProductView. The new names are set forth below. All of the current products, including modules and packages, remain available under new brands and are excellent options for customers and prospects looking to get on the path to Creo.Pro/ENGINEER becomes Creo Elements/Pro™CoCreate becomes Creo Elements/Direct™ProductView becomes Creo Elements/View™So, we're not working in Pro/E anymore?! It's Creo Elements/Pro????I hope PTC knows what is doing.. I really enjoyed being a Pro/Engineer.Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

Am I the only one who, while hearing them continually refer to "apps,"wondered if that meant Pro/E (oops, sorry, "creo elements pro") on the iPad? -- Lyle BeidlerMGS Inc178 Muddy Creek Church RdDenver PA 17517717-336-7528 Fax 717-336-0514 <">mailto:-> - <">http://www.mgsincorporated.com>

So, each year I look for ways to get myself to the PTC/User event. (Iusually need to get a paper approved to have a chance.) I'm usuallypretty interested in going and learning and meeting other users. This year, however, with the switch to a PTC run event, I'm feeling nodesire at all to go. Looking at the call for papers page [1], it seemsprimarily devoted to PLM and management, not to the Pro/E user in thetrenches. Big picture, enterprise level ideas seem to dominate and thenitty gritty 'how do I get Pro/E to do ___" or "how to use Pro/E for____" seem to be taking on a lesser role. I get the impression that I'dfind it hard to fill my schedule with relevant presentations. Any other users feeling rather uninspired by the event this year? Hi,OSD really poor in import DXF font file from Autocad or Coreldraw to create MI file if compare to Pro-E, Any can tell this.Thanks.Brs ST
Ok, 99 times out of 100 I don't want to use the align angle constraint, but occasionally Pro/E will give me that constraint when I click twoplanes that are not close to parallel. Now, I want that and I can't getPro/E to give it to me, even when the planes are quite a bit offparallel. I can't just pick 'Align Angle' either, how do I get it toshow up? Doug Schaefer
Hey,Can anyone point me in the right direction? We are looking for some material libraries to use in Pro/Mechanica. Appearently it's not that common to have extended material libraries or the common properties of those.Metals don't seem to be the problem, but now for Advanced Mechanica we need some plastics... themoplasts, thermoharder, composites (which is hard I know)Thanks for some feedback haw to get started.greetssam
A few minutes later, without restart, the icon is gone.I'm sure I'm missing something stupid simple.
