Thanks to Lars for giving me his example. The problem is that the .TreeLinkStyle needs to be set to an "undocumented" 95 instead of the default 2. I swore I had tried this previously with no success but I verified it this morning. We have access to Mechanica WF 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0. What, if any,capabilities exist in Mechanica to perform shock analysis on metalcomponents. I need to apply a load of so many g's (20g, 50g, etc) for aperiod of time ( 1 millisecond, .5 millisecond, etc) and then be able tocheck the stress and deflection. What is the best type of analysis inMechanica to be able to accomplish this.Thanks!

Hello! I tried to open a Wildfire 5 version under wildfire 4th.For this I have before installated and configurationed the GCRI.But it is not work from WF5 to WF4.Is there already a solution or is the approach here different?Regards,Karsten

Regarding Measure Distance and picking the Projection Direction.I almost alwasy want my measure commands to show me x, y, and z (positive or negative) values.Usually I want the x,y,z values to be relative to the first coordinate system in the active model.I would really like to find a way to have ProE give me this command without all the back and forth picking on screen.I've tried mapkeys and it doesn't work from model to model, even when the coordinate system names are the same.Using mapkey pause and resume "works" except that it's the same number of mouse picks as doing the command manually.I am looking for a way to have 1 menu pick (or mapkey) that does:Measure Distance (Projection Direction) [pick the first csys on the model tree].

I have a Microsoft Presenter mouse for my laptop, and the middle mouse button behavior in ProE is driving me up the wall. Looking back at my university years, there have been several things that I struggled with or thought I could never push them into my brain. Now, in my everyday job life, some of them I never need (phew), while some I am using daily and these suddenly seem so clear and easy to me.Did you have a similar experience while studying? What was the formula you could least remember or the piece of theory you had to learn but then turned out useless for what you are doing now?
