GurusAnyone been running Windchill R8 M040 with Wildfire 4, if so any issues orproblemsI know from the Software Matrix that this is not supported but I feel this isa way forwardI want to upgrade to Windchill r9.1 and Wildfire 4 so it is a chicken and egg situation, WF2 is not supported under R9, WF4 is not supported under Windchill R8 M040So I can pay for an upgrade to R8 M050 then I can do WF4 then pay again for teh MIGRATION toR9.1What I would like to do is run WF4 for a short while then do the R9.1 upgrade so the users do not have 2 new things to cope with(Yes I am a considerate Sys Admin)Any advice, help, knowledge etc please pass my way

Guru's, Occasionally when merging two parts Pro/E will give me an error tellingme to change one of the parts to some new accuracy value OR to useabsolute accuracy. I've somewhat blindly always just followed ordersand changed whatever it told me to. I am wondering if I would be betteroff going to the absolute method instead? Would I simply change the twoparts to the same absolute accuracy value? And would it matter whatthat value is? Any thoughts? Please respond to the list to maintainthe thread... thanks in advance... Can anyone tell me why imported parts (in the .prt format) sometimes disappear when the units are changed?

When I open the document "What's New: Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0"; there are multimedia images and video links for most of the topics. My question is about the videos; I was able to view the video portion but I am wondering if there is an audio portion of these videos. If there is an audio what can be done to hear the audio. Otherwise I guess I simply want to know that no audio exists for these document links in this document.

I just upgraded my test and production server to Windchill 9.0 M070. I'm getting the follow message in the systems event viewer on my production server (but not on my test server):Message: Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a transaction response from the FASTDSService service.Does anyone know what this service is and why it's trying to start? Google tuned up one thing and it had to do with FASTInstream but wasn't very useful. Thanks in advance.Dave

I am in the process of creating a UNEF hole chart for WF4. I guess the 1st quesion would be... Has anyone already done this and have a file they are willing to share.If not, what software are you using to edit the table... I'm having trouble getting the columns and column headings to line up.
