My fellow users and admins,Is there a way to change the embedded browser inside of ProE to use Firefox instead of IE? I am having PDMLink issues IE 7.0 and would like to switch to Firefox completely, even in ProE.Thanks in advance for your help.Michael Wimberly

Pro|E used to ship with human models. Not realistic, more like thosewooden movable deals. If you don't have a CD, look it up on ptc.com, youmay be able to download it.Doug Schaefer

When I import a stl file to a prt file, and save this prt file, I find that the prt file's size will be very large, for example, I create a new prt file, and import a STL file(file size is about 10M), when I saved this new prt file, this prt file size is about 100M, why? I you do not believe, you can try it.

HI all,While talking with Ptc, I played around with the numbers and finally got what I wanted. When going from either .6 or .7 to anything in between, nothing happened. But if I change the numerical value to be a little more drastic to begin with, then change it back, it takes. In my case, I went down to .5, then back to .67, and it worked. Ptc was able to duplicate the issue, which made them think it was an accuracy issue, although I never modified the accuracy value. Seems like it's always something.Thanks for all the responses,Stefan

WF2, M220I have a simp rep that has a few rules to find parts/assys and exclude them based on their name.  Works great.  I replaced a sub assy with one that has some components that should be excluded by the rules, but are not.  Why is that and how do I 'refresh' my rules so that they are?Doug Schaefer

Hi All,Our IT bunch is hoping to roll out Office 2007 and retire Office 2003 very soon. One of the possible issues is that 2007 renames files, I.E. *.xls becomes *.xlsx when an Excel spreadsheet is saved in native 2007 format.I have heard rumors that this causes a Pro/E object containing an OLE object to plus by simply opening it in Pro/E. Has anybody seen this behavior? I was not able to reproduce it in ILINK 3.4 M060 and WF 3.0 M150.Thanks,Ben

Hallo zusammen, ich möchte gerne von einer Bohrung ein radiales Muster erstellen, um nicht jede Bohrung einzeln anlegen zu müssen. Ich kann auch alles einstellen, nur bei dem Bezugselemente kann ich weder etwas anwählen noch etwas eintragen, die Hilfe erweist sich leider auch nicht als eine solche. Has anyone else had issues w/ Pro-E freezing up during the regen process. This didn't start until w/ switched over to 4.0 about 3 weeks ago. It has probably happend 6 to 8 times now. It just stops. Task manager shows it as still running but if you check the performace tab nothings happening. Any ideas??? Thanks.

Having trouble setting up our new printer. A HP DesignJet 500c set up inI.P. printing configuration. We have to use a program called printraw.exeto send a .ptl file to our Toshiba printers. I can't seem to get thisset-up to work with the new HP plotter.Anyone have any suggestions on how to get this plotter to work?Thanks in advance!Regard,Joe S.
