Can anyone give me a litte advice as to the best way to create a new logo in wf3? We have changed names again and all I have is the typical artwork to start off with.Any help is appreciated......thanks!

Does anyone know if it's possible to have both wildfire 4 and wildfire 2 installed on the same PC? We're upgrading to wildfire 4 and would like to leave wildfire 2 installed until the engineers are happy with wildfire 4.

Though the program is compatible with Vista, and my system has all compatible graphics, when i create shapes they do not appear on my screen until i change the camera angle etc, making it difficult to use the software as i cannot see, for example, what i am selecting, extruding or shelling Is this normal? Is there a way of fixing it? Thanks, Lauren

Hi, I want to do an extrusion diagonally to remove materials from a wing model. However the extrusion that i was able to do is all 90 degrees. Does anyone know how to solve this? Currently using pro engineer wildfire 2.0, education version as it is on the school computer. Thanks.

Hello everyone,Trying a new operation in Pro-E and can't find a way to get it done. I have logo work in a native Pro-E file. (a number of sketches, text extrusions, etc...) I'm trying to find a way that I can import that .prt file into another Pro-E file. Most other softwares I'm familiar with, this is a simple File:import.Does anyone know how I can do this in Pro-E?thanks in advance,greg

Is there a way to put a plane in ProE using plane equations (a,b,c,d)?

I am looking for a way to adjust the line width wider or brighter for selection or pre-selection--or any highlighted edges? I find it very difficult, sometimes, to see the highlighted edges or errors.

What are the build differences between Productview 9.0 release M040 and M060? Is it worth the upgrade?

I am on a team competing in the RWDC and I'm having trouble importing coordinates from a .txt file into pro/e, and I have no idea how to go about doing this. Greetings, I have a need to animate a model that involves some deformation ofmaterial... And, I am as green as can be in this realm. (I know very little aboutanimation.) I am pretty sure there is a tool in Pro/E that can help me animate. Is itone of those $5k modules, or is it included in Foundation? Are there twoversions (basic and pro - like rendering)? Does anybody know what has been fixed with Wildfire 4 M061 build?So far this build is only available for the Solaris and HP-UX platforms.and yes I have already done the following:1. used the "Update Advisor" however M061 is not a selection for build    codes2. tried searching for M061 on PTC's "Search the Knowledge Base"3. I have opened a call yesterday morning after attempting 1 and 2.    However I have not heard back yet. It evidently takes a long time    to a. call development and b. to call/email meI am wanting to know this information because:1. a build like this generally means there is a bad problem2. we are updating from WF3 to WF4 M060 on Monday.Thanks--

Yeah, just as I suspected... They meant to do that. Or, more accurately,it needs to be like that. I understand, and I was gently reminded that itreally is my mistake. One thing I learned is for that reason alone is a good argument for creatingand using external sketches. If one is in the habit of creating a sketchfirst, then choosing the tool, my "problem" goes away. As well as theannoyance of picking extrude by habit when you really want a revolve...That happens occasionally, too. What I DON'T understand is why, if I forget to select SURF and leave theSOLID default, why, oh why, can Pro/E not simply default to a THINprotrusion? The solid selection remains but the dashboard locks you into athin solid. This would at least save a little bit of time / frustration...And, I think it actually does do this 'sometimes'. I guess I need to paymore attention when it does happen. Thanks again for your help... -Nate _____
