I have a round flat plate with a certain thickness. I also have a small round sketch somewhere on top of that plate. I'm trying to apply pressure load just inside the small sketch area (perpendicular to the big plate) but I do not succeed to do that since it is impposible to choose the sketch while appling the pressure load. Please advice.

Could anyone point me in the direction of any ProE Mechanica tutorials sheets. I need to run finite element (Mechanica) on a small gearbox to complete some Uni work and could do with some pointers. Thanks in advance. Martin

Is it possible to be able to create files in the commercial version of ProE and save them to be opened in an educational version. I believe deselecting the floating Modules box will help. Can anyone advise if this is correct. Thanks Martin

Guru's, I am trying to create a variable round in Wildfire 3, build M030. Ifigured out how to add a point and drag it around... And I know I canadd points BEFORE the round to control the location better. What I amlooking for is something we used to be able to do in 2001. In 2001 wecould change a constant round to a variable one, and then "select all"to get ALL the vertexes on the edge we are rounding. Hy, If I update form wildfire 2 to 3 then if I make some components in wildfire 3 can I save them in a format that can be opened and work on it in wildfire 2?

Hi folks, this thread might have been discussed in time past, so my apologies if so. How do I select multiple edges at one time to foorm a chained curve? When I select one edge, and then go into edit and select copy and then paste, it creates a single curve just fine, but as soon as I select more than one edge, even though it tangent, the "copy" selection under edit is greyed out. I find my self having to edit/copy/paste every edge individually instead of being able to just hold down thew CTRL button and select multiple at one time.Thanks ahead of time for your fix.MarkW2.0

I am using WF2 m220 I keep seeing were XML files are being used to create programs. Does any one have the time to walk through the steps needed to make this work? I feel like I’m missing the boat!

I've been using other CAD programs for many years and just today we got Pro-E up and running, and I have to learn to use it. I'm pretty good at picking up things from books through self study, but so far I'm completely confused about where on the PTC web site I can find introductory information for those new to the program. Will 3D Library work with the PE edtion?

Hi Folks,No Pro/E models but two suggestions on sites with good 3D Max models. You need to buy most of them, and get a third party translator to get them in a Pro/E recognizable import format.Responses:

Using the MS Printer Manager for both an HP Plotter and a Laserjet printer,.... how can I control the line weight on my plots. Using a pen table doesn't seem to work with these printers... not a surprise since they don't use "pens". Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you! Chris
