Try this site it may help <http: www.mcadcentral.com="/>http://www.mcadcentral.com/ 1.a Check this out - not sure how much traffic the Catia forum gets but it'sworth a try. http://www.mcadcentral.com --- much less traffic than Pro/E 2. I've heard of www.coe.org <http: www.coe.org="/> . (Catia OperatorsExchange) They have a forum but I don't know what level of participationthey have. 3. Looks like the move has started - better sign up soon!
Here are the responses I have received. Unfortunately, Keystone Electric does not have CAD models of its battery contacts available.

Hello, does anybody have model of the fire department connection size "C" according to DIN 14307 and cover for it and is willing to share?Jurij ÃÂÂ kraba
While most of us use this with Pro/ENGINEER, I thought it was an interestingarticle. I HIGHLY recommend IT folks subscribe to Techrepublic.com.Excellent all around site for IT. Dear Pro'sIs anybody using the Wildfire 3 Mechanica? I saw it at the 2006 PTC/USER'sconvention and PTC is claiming the mesher is more robust and that therehave been some other improvements.I have been thinking of installing WF3 just for the sake of doing myanalysis using WF3 ProMechanica. How about it, anybody using it and is it worth the time to install?Greg SaiterABB Inc., PIPMATPA / INAPM CMC SERVICES
Original Question:Does anyone know if Pro-E can do this or has plans to support 3D XML anytime soon ? I have never heard of 3D XML until I started a new project with a Catia client.
When creating an extrusion and entering a thickness value in the placement/options/properties box of .05 the system tells me that "You have entered a value .05 that is out of range (.174 to 1000000) click ok to correct..." it will not let me create a extrusion using I put in a value higher than .174.I can although create the extrusion with the default value (above .174) and change the dim to .05 and the extrusion will be created. Is there a setting somewhere that contols this or is something not set-up correctly. Thanks

Pro Modelers,When drafting the end of a cylinder, I usually choose the edge as my draft hinge. Pro then picks the end of the edge as the draft point and invariably this is not the point I want, I suppose this is because Pro looks at a cylinder as two semicircles extruded. Short of putting in a tangential plane every time, is there any way to force the draft point to the middle of the edge?Your help is always appreciated,Richard A. So how was everyone's 4th? I know this is off the topic, but I'm bored at lunch!
Good morning Sim,There is some disparity between a couple of resources over whether thedamping value on the Dynamic analysis UI is supposed to be input as a wholenumber (percentage) or a decimal (ie, 3 or 0.03 for 3 percent). Thediscussions I found here in the archives don't seem to address thisdirectly. The PTC KB indicates it is a percentage...a trusted resource hasheard decimal. Thanks in advance,Gavin B. Hello,I have to analyse strengh of a thank that is underground. It's completely contrained on concrete at it's bottom and it's stressed by the pressure of the ground (topsoil + water = 1.7 density). What kind of stress I must apply (constant pressure, force...) ?Can someone give me an idea or a link that explain how this should be set ?I know there are several methods to calculate soil pressure (Coulomb, Rankine...) but I don't know how to use them and I don't know what kind of soil it is.Perhaps I could calculate as a tank fixed in a liquid ?Thanks,GB
Hi every one,Here is a post and a follow-up I made on the draft forum. As no answer from my follow-up, I though I might give it a try here. Sorry if some of you are also on the draft list...Thx in advance,David
Thank you so much to all who responded, you guys and girls never cease toamaze me.Of course, I'd forgotten to resize the tablespaces before doing the import. It seems obvious now, probably a case of not seeing the wood for the trees.Once again, thank you so much.

Has anyone used both systems here? If so, please give me your opinion (good or bad) on either system. Thanks
Hello everyone, does not someone have 3D model of Grammer MSG 20 seat, openable in ProE?Grammer itself is not able provide me with this model because they startedmaking 3D since later seat models. There might be also whatever similar.Thank you in advance.J.VeselyAO-DELTA s.r.oCZ
I was on the right track... just had to use the FORMAT- TEXT STYLE menuin 2001... The trick was that you can't get to the segment of the notethru query select in order to use the RMB PROPERTIES or MOD TEXT STYLEfunctionality. I'll include samples of the replies as they differsomewhat... I'm thinking based on what version of Pro/E you are using: - Do it by using the modify font style instead of QS - You have the note changed correctly. I use this map key to select andmodify text style: mapkey ms @MAPKEY_LABELMod text Style;#MODIFY;#TEXT;#TEXT STYLE; - Put the P on a second line then change the font then re-edit and movethe line up. (this is for WF!) thanks to all...ORIGINAL POST:
Guru's A while back, I thought I read a post about having different text stylesin the same note and line, but now can't seem to get it to work, nor canI find the original post. I tried the following based on what I remember. What I have is a notethat reads{0:VIEW IN DIRECTION OF ARROW P}and I've change it to read{0:VIEW IN DIRECTION OF ARROW }{1:P}Now I'm trying to query select just the "P" portion in order to make ita larger font. Is this possible? Or did I misread something... thanks in advance... Paul Korenkiewicz FEV Engine Technology 4554 Glenmeade Auburn Hills, MI, 48326
looking for the proper syntax for pulling values out of analysis features into 3d notes. I know there is something tricky about it (since) trying a couple of quick trys didn't get it, but sure someone here knows quickly (syntax for proe stuff seems impossible to find in help.) Also if I'm doing this, will the 3d note have to be after the analysis in regen order for it to be "visible"?
