All, I have a struggle with table functionality. I want to modify the text in abox. Better than half the time I pick, I get to see the little box formodifying the file properties. Click done/return, try again. I noticed that the box highlights in different ways:Before picking, the box highlights blue. Upon picking: 1. blue outline, text stays yellow2. red outline, text stays yellow3. red outline, text turns blue. Can someone enlighten me how I should pick so I don't have to go over thesame picks again and again? What is the rationale for the differenthighlights? How can I get pick-once-because-this-is-what-I-wantfunctionality? ThanksSip WF3

Guru's... We are finally discussing making the move from 2001 to Wildfire and arewondering if there is any reason NOT to go directly to 3.0? I thoughtthere was some recent discussions of this, but when I searched thearchive for "wildfire 3" nothing came up. Quite frankly, I almost nevercan find anything in the archives... is there a "trick" there? I triedthis group, the prouser group, AND the model group, all resulting innothing... thanks.... Is there a way to asychroniz the ProMacroLoad inside an auxiliary application? When I tried to call a ProMacroLoad(), it always started after the application was done.Any idea? Thanks,Leon
Of course a few minutes after I sent this I figured it out on my own.In the Mechanica results window you need to go to Edit > Result Window then in the Result Definition Window select the Display Location tab and then select Components/Layers in the pull down list. This will bring up a model tree which you can then select the components you wish to Blank or Unblank. Pretty simple I just needed to figure out where it was. Thanks to those who already replied. Next time I'll look harder before sending a question.Mark
For those of you that use the ecad_hint.map file, I was curious whether you create a single mapping file for all of your PCBs (and append it with new entries) or if you prefer to have a separate mapping file for each individual PCB?Thanks in advance,Keith Richman Simplified Solutions Inc. http://www.simplifiedsolutionsinc.com - (410)420-7853

I have an off the wall question. I need to add a clearance hole just large enough for a #2 Phillipsscrewdriver shaft in one of my parts. The head of the screw does notneed to pass through the hole, because I am using a captive type screw. But I want the exposed opening to be as small as possible. Does anybody know the diameter of a #2 Phillips screwdriver? I have tried Google and Yahoo searches with no luck.Douglas A. Two tall trees, a birch and a beech, are growing in the woods. A smalltree begins to grow between them, and the beech says to the birch, "Isthata son of a beech or a son of a birch?" The birch says he cannot tell.Justthen a woodpecker lands on the sapling. The birch says, "Woodpecker, youare a tree expert. Can you tell if that is a son of a beech or a son ofabirch?" The woodpecker takes a taste of the small tree. He replies, "Itisneither. It is, however, the best piece of ash I have ever put my peckerin."

PTC tech support says "Dynamic Random" analyses require PSD input to be in the units of acceleration^2/Hz, rather than g^2/Hz.Does anyone know how to convert the universal, industry-wide g^2/Hz PSD input values to the PTC-freaky acceleration^2/Hz values? For example, at 450 Hz, the PSD value is .107 g^2/Hz. What value is this number in acceleration^2/Hz?Thanks
