the import option for catia,solidworks,inventor,unigraphics is also available in creo 2.0.i think the open option in creo 3.0 is the big thing!

On the PLUGIN command, I know you can pass arguments to an external program,but is it possible to return a value(s) back to the SA Application besideshaving the program write out the values into a 1) database, 2) excel file (csv)or a 3) text file and having the SA app read that?

So I have recently downloaded the education pack of Creo 2.0, but when i download the file >> MED-100WIN-CD-#_M070_Win32-64.zip << I cannot do anything with the file. Ive tried extracting the files but to no avail, I think this is because when I download the files through the recommended Download Manager the file type changes from a .zip to a .dlm file and it will not open and will not be changed back....Please HelpRoss

Wildfire4 we have a mapkey that recalculates the mass properties when the material is changed and updates our Weight parameter. In Creo2, I can manually run the analysis and see the mass change but the Weight parameter does not update, wither manually or from the mapkey.Is there a better method in Creo2 for updating a parameter driven from mass properties?

I have installed Creo3 and was interested in seeing the 3D thickness analysis working, but the button is greyed out. Any ideas why? As is the way with PTC, is an extra module required?Thanks in advance.Jeff

My apologies if this is not the correct forum to seak this information.We have recently moved from old Sun Ultra 10's to Windows 7 and need CADDS to take care of legacy data going back 30 years on an active project. I've encountered numerous problems with getting CADDS 5 rev 16 (currently on 16.1 M040) to work on Windows and although I can get CADDS to work most of the time, it seems unstable and the slightest hiccup can stop it. PTC Tech Support has only been able to help with about half the problems. I have found some solutions myself after much trial and error. I've opening so many cases over the last few months, I'm almost feeling that they are ignoring me.I am looking at connecting with anyone who is activily using CADDS 5 on Windows or at least has a fair amount of experience who may have already gone through the process. Maybe recommendations on who to contact, companies who still use CADDS, etc. I've done searches on the PTC Community for anything CADDS and the only area that p
