I have long used Silhoutte curves to help establish parting linesin deep draw stampings. These are created in a skeleton model for re-use down stream but I am not able to do so with Creo2 after making the jump from WF4.Thoughts? Thanks to all in advance.

Is it possible to hide notes without having to delete them?
How do you ungroup features in the model tree. I have two features that I can't disassociate with one another. I am trying to suppress just one of them and every time I try doing that it ends up suppressing both since they are grouped together. Could someone please shed some light.Thank you
Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer an already defined explode state into a keyframe sequence in WF4?What I really want is just a keyframe sequence defined at unexploded and then one at exploded without creating all the bodies and redragging a hundred components around again
I'm experiencing a great deal of frustration today.......I've had a BUSINESS CRITICAL support case in for ELEVEN days. It took two days to get me the NDA paperwork, only after I asked for it. It took another day after that to get log in info for the secure FTP site. I haven't heard back from the support tech since last Thursday.I'm speechless, dumbfounded and astounded. I've used VAR's and support on other softwares.....NEVER has it been this bad.....NEVER. This is just LUDICRIOUS. I copied Lyn Atkinson about this issue as well as Mark Hodges. I swear upon my heart that I will NEVER accept another position in any company that uses PTC products, nor will I ever recommend PTC to any company that I know. I'm done with PTC. They have shown me nothing but poor and untimely support, with techs that do not know of what they speak, and cannot speak the English language so I can understand them. I am DONE. Stick a fork in me.
Can any one please share jigs & fixture model in proe native format . I need it hardly

I hate the CREO 2.0 GUI, it is horrible for my productivity and I need to vent somewhere. I click and move my mouse twice as much, if not more, than I did. I can't stand the ribbon format, it is awful. If they would have left the drop down's it'd be all good. If their is a way to turn them on, my IT guy doesn't know how and I can't find a way.Is it just me, or our their others who are unhappy with the new GUI? I also noticed changes to the middle mouse button functions that I use a lot and just little things are differnt too. I want to go back to WF 4
How would you go about creating a section view such as this one in WF4?
When sketching, especially with a shaded model, it is very difficult to see construction lines. Any of the three line styles would be better, but I cannot find where to set the "construction mode" line style. Is it possible to change the line style of the default (dotfont) or make a new style the default.I have been doing a lot of searching in the help file and have found little. It seems to be possible to change the line style for geometry entities, but I cannot find anything for the construction entities (other than color). Thanks!Don
Creo 3.0 would be able to open native CAD data from Solidworks, CATIA,UG NX..etc.....!

We have recently started using the PTC exit Logger for Creo 2. Tech support sent me a couple Excel files to use to analyze the exit logs. However, it looks like the files are from 2008 and the fields are different from Creo 2 then Wildfire X.0. Is someone willing to share the Excel files they have for Creo 2? Hi, In EMX, when I define a screw, I rename it according to my company´s rules, for example "1000-P00-00". When I have to modify it, the part is renamed automatically to something like "1000_SCREW101". Is it possible to keep the part name that I defined previously?
In Wildfire 5.0, users were allowed to apply distributed moments over the faces of solid parts, as shown in this simple beam model. In reality, such a load has no physical meaning, and if you defined such a load, Mechanica (now called Creo Simulate) would let you know with this warning message. In Creo Simulate 1.0, users are no longer allowed to create such loads, as indicated by the inactive moment area of the newer Force/Moment dialog.Analogous changes were made to the Constraint dialog as well. Some Simulate users were confused by this change and wondered if some of the existing functionality had been removed from the product. The goal of this post is to explain why we made this change and to help users employ other methods to apply moment loads to their modes. Most mechanical and structural engineers were introduced to the theory of beams during a strength of materials class early in in their undergraduate education. In that class, we learned that for long and slender beams, we
Anyone have an Idea how to generate a Solid Body Sweeps in Creo 2.0 (in Solidwork seems to be possible: see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKNle2zi7qA) ?
