A quick question; it is my assumption that Pro/E rounds a number ending in '5' (or more) up and ending in '4' (or less) down. Can any one confirm?i.e:.1285 rounds to 3 places .129, .1284 rounds to 3 places .128And I know I can test, but this got thrown at me last minute. Thanks very much in advance!

Is there anyway that user can decide that "at this point, control point should appear" (i mean internal ones, not the external 4 point that are on extreme ends and are paired)Or what are the factor that decides internal control points?

solidworks 2014 just enhanced there sketcher with a new option... "replace sketch entity"...i think pro/e has that option for ages....another reason pro/e is light years ahead of solidworks....just a thought..... i wish PTC continued on Pro/E 2001..direction.....

Creo 2I've been unable to use the control key in the naming/activation of mapkeys. I know I would be unable to use a, x,c& v but would like to setup mapkeys such as CTRL+m to activate the model ribbon tab.Anyone know if such is possible?Thanks,~Dan

In todays world a 8MP file is common and reducing the file will reduce clarity.

Hi,ich versuche gerade eine mit AutoCAD erstellte DXF-Datei in Creo Direct Modelling Express 4 zu öffnen. Bei Öffnen erscheint die Meldung, daß die Daten in das Creo kompatible Format migriert werden müssen. Nach Bestätigen mit "Weiter" bei das Annotataion-Blatt leer. Bewegt man die Maus über dasBlatt, so erscheint irgendwann ein blaues Rechteck, was anscheinend der Umgrenzung des geöffneten Bauteils entspricht. Die Detaildaten werden aberf nicht angezeigt. Ich habe es bereits mit verschiedenen AutoCAD-Version probiert. Auch der Import einer DWG-Zeichnung liefert das gleiche Ergebnis. Ich möchte die DXF-Daten benutzen, um ein 3D-Bauteil daraus zu erstellen. Neben der DXF-Datei wurde eine LOG-Datei erstellt (Some problems encountered during translation). Wo liegt der Fehler (Linieformat, Layer, Farben, ...) ?

Our maintenance contract is up in December and our reseller is telling us that PTC is increasing prices as of Oct 1st, the start of their fiscal year.  They are offering us the opportunity to renew now to avoid the increase.  He couldn't tell me what the increase would be, but said in the past it was 5-10%.Has anyone else heard that there would be a price increase this October?Thanks,--

One of my Creo users just started seeing a weird performance issue. After every command he does Creo stalls for a couple of seconds. By stalls I mean it does the command and then acts like its locked up for a couple of seconds. All other users are running just fine. Has anyone experienced this before?We all have the same computer. Here is a screen shot of the basic specs of the computer.
