Hello everyone:I have the following issue with my bearing: In the sectional views, the balls always seem to be fully displayed, and I just can't get rid of it (as in the attached file).I imported and installed the bearing from the SKF catalog as an STP file like all the other bearings and they word fine. Please help!

I have a sketch of a quadrilateral between 2 parts in my assembly and the dimensions of this quadrilateral are derived from the spacing between the parts (by putting constraint "Point on Entity"). Now, I want to establish relations for placement of another part with the dimensions of this quadrilateral. However, when I enter into the relations dialogue box and click on the sketch, the dimensions corresponding to the lengths of the quadrilateral do not show up. I understand that this is happening because it was not a defined length, but rather a derived length. But is there a way to access such dimensions in the relations dialogue box?

Hi everyone,since I need to get screws based on threaded holes, is there any chance to set screw diameter by thread surface diameter or to set DG dimension on drilled hole surface?

When dimensioning a threaded hole Creo is adding {0:@D} to the front of the dimension. I have tried to delete this several times without results, creating a new dimension for the same hole does not help the problemDoes anyone know why this is appearing and how to stop it from automatically adding

I'm trying to create a custom view orientation. No matter what I do, I can only rotate the view orientation about the Z- and Y-axis, but not about the X-axis. When I change the numerical value either in the X- or in the Z-angle input box, the view orientation always rotates about the Z-axis and never about the X-axis. The attached screenshots show different angle values entered in the X- and/or Z-angle input box. It can be seen that the angle always changes about the Z-axis and never about the X-axis. 1. Start: X-angle and Z-angle are zero 2. Changed the Z-angle -> view rotates about Z-axis ✅ 3. Changed the X-angle -> view rotates about Z-axis ❌ 4. Changed both Z-angle and X-angle -> view does not rotate at all, Z and X cancel each other out ❌

Hi, I'm creating a mould of a lego minifigure for a school project. I created a silhouette curve to define the split line on the model but then when I tried to create a skirt surface it came up with a lot of errors because I don't think the silhouette curve has complete loops. Is there any simple way of fixing this? Maybe using a different operation to achieve the same result?

I have created gyroid structures in creo and want to export it as a step or iges file to work in ANSYS, but if I try to do so, except for the gyroid every other part is getting exported. Is there a solution to this problem. Also I can export it as a STL file which turns out to be heavy, which is not feasible to work with.

In another post I asked a feedback about the development of Matchad Prime (MCP) v.10 as compared to the previous versions.  Up to now I kept my Mathcad (MC) 11  - the first "love" in this field of software - despite the problems of running it in the new OSes. Apparently its seems that MCP is not near (for a general math user) after 10 versions to what it was MC 10, i.e. Mathcad 2001i (the preceeding version of MC11). I was also told to give a try to MapleFlow (MF), given the fact that also MC11 hides a maple symbolic engine. So I did in a backup computer with v.2023.3 - the latest. As already observed several features of MC are absent in MF. For instance it does not have a alignment option of formulas, as MC11 does (see picture). Moreover, I did not find a list of functions, that are instead directly accessable in MC11. I didn't find any interface related to the Create_balloons function in my API wizard. I use Creo Parametric 4.0 version, I am trying to use VBAPI to create balloons by view automatically . Is there any interface can help me with that? Or other ways to take me there.

Hi there, I installed the student version of Creo 8.0.4.0, I know that I do not have a cutting-edge computer to run some of the extensions of creo such as creo simulate live, creo render studio and others... that is why I just installed CREO PARAMETRIC. However, when the installation was done, I got the message INSTALLED WITH ERRORS, I opened the message to see what the error was and it showed: your computer doesnt support creo simulation liv ( I said it doesnt matter because I did not installed that extension) as I said before I just installed creo parametric. Therefore:1. I opened Creo to start getting familiar with the software, I clicked on CREATE NEW PART, then I scrolled up and down on the drop-down menu to select a TEMPLATE (I think it is for units selection) BUT I could not be able to select the template I wanted, it automatically asked me to select a template again, I TRIED to select a different one but nothing, then I DECIDED to click on and selected EMPTY and it worked,

Hello all,  I'm looking for a way to set a default option for number of decimals shown in a drawing dimension. The obvious answer here is to change the config option default_dec_places, which will achieve my goal. But the problem is, that also changes the dimension decimal places in a .prt sketch as well. Hello,I have these points: How to calculate each colored area from below plot made with above points?   Mathcad Prime 9 fille attached.

I  am having trouble creating properly dimensioned drawings of compound miter cuts on HSS square tubes. The annotations are difficult for the shop to interpret. ( see picture attached) So the next best thing is a pipe wrap template that the shop can use to mark the tube for cutting.I've had some luck:1. converting to sheet metal and then making a flat pattern drawing and exporting to DXF for laser cutting a marking template and also2. some luck creating a surface wrap and unfoldng that as well. Neither one is ideal however, and both were found by accident and not easily repeatable. Furthermore the "convert to sheet metal" method was irreversible so it requires making copies of all the tubes in the model which is a royal pain when there are more than a few parts.
