Good evening, everyone.  I was working on a model in Mathcad today. Unfortunately, I keep getting an error message every time. To prevent errors, I have removed all units. I have double-checked the function, but I can't seem to find the error. The error message I'm getting is "This value must be a function." I would say that this might be in the theta1(t), z2(t), and theta2(t). I have already reviewed the steps below:Check the ODEs: Make sure that the ODEs you are trying to solve are properly defined as functions of the independent variable (usually time) and dependent variables. For example, if you have an ODE like dy/dt = f(t, y), make sure that f(t, y) is a valid function.Correct Function Format: Ensure that the functions used in your ODEs are defined correctly. It takes me several attempts at times to right mouse click a balloon leader in order to re-attach or move it. And then at times it comes right up? I've experimented with selecting within different tabs like Annotation, Tools, or layout, as well as selecting closer to the arrow, but it doesn't seem to help? Again, sometimes I have no problem but more often than not I get the text style or convert to draft entities menu instead of edit attachment and arrow style menu that I am looking for. Forgot to mention I am in Creo 9.0.4.0 drawing.

I am interested in Mathcad for the sole purpose of drawing contours based on spot elevations that are scattered (x, y, z), i.e. not in a unique grid.I saw online that previous edition of Mathcad could do this, but I am unable to find the functionality in Mathcad Prime. Could you guide me to the speicifc process that I can use to achieve this. In summary, I have data points scattered in 3d space, with each data point having x, y, z coordinates. I want Mathcad to draw contours in 2D (axes representing x and y, with contours drawn between z values). An example of a process is described here, but I cannot find this functionality in Mathcad Prime (see Slide 53 and later).

Anyone found a way to change default model tolerances via a mapkey? You have to enter the edit dimension mode to be able to click on and change tolerances in graphics window. The model feature clicked will always be different. Even if I get into edit dimensions mode, a mapkey to just change default tolerances will not work. It won't click on default tolerances in the graphics window. Default tolerances are not listed in the parameters either.

I am pretty new to this segment and it would be much appreciated if someone can share some demo parts in Creo Parametric which can be droved by mathcad prime 8 along withn how to do it.

Hello, I have a question while I was making a function related to printing in creo toolkit.We confirmed that the function has a ProPrintPCFOptionsGet that uses the pct file to retrieve the print settings. I think it's a very useful feature, but I thought I had to have a pcf file before I could use it.So I tried to create a function to create a pcf file first, but I couldn't see the proper function, so I had a hard time.Can you recommend a function that makes a pcf file? Or if you know how to make a function without using it, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.Thank you.

When I activate parts in Creo 10.0.1.0 the transparency hides holes/oulines of other parts. Here is an example. None of the holes are shown, once I active the lower plate. Is there any way to change that?

I am using Creo Parametric 8.0.7.0. When Creo switches from one LAN to another after some gap in between, the license is lost and the popup comes up asking to switch to Offline mode. But the popup windows for the "License lost" and "Switch to offline" are overlapping and can't be moved. This prevents me from clicking on the License lost window and thus, I also can't click on the Offline/Online mode. These popups interfere by displaying on top of all other programs. The only way to remove that popup is to close Creo through Task Manager. How to make the popup windows movable so that I can interact with them?

Hi GuysHow can I generate G-Code for a 3D printer directly from a Creo model without relying on any third-party applications? Are there built-in tools or features within Creo that facilitate the creation of G-Code for 3D printing? I noticed that Creo has options for 3D printing, but it seems to prompt me to purchase a specific 3D printer.  

I have attached three files.  FFT1, FFT4, and FFT5.  I'm trying to learn how to do a fast fourier transform.  I begin with a 1 microsecond sampling rate, which provide a max. nyquist frequency of 500 kHz.  I multiply the number of points in FFT4 by a factor of 10, so the sampling rate becomes 0.1 microsecond, which provides a max Nyquist frequency of 5 MegaHz.  Then I again multiply the sampling frequency by 10 and produce a sampling rate of 0.01 microseconds and a Nyquist frequency of 50.  Can anyone take a look and confirm this theory?  How do I reproduce a segment of the output FFT?  I want to reproduce the segment above n=50 MHz in the final spreadsheet.  How do I reproduce the segment beginning with n=0 and ending with n=50 in the FFT5 spreadsheet.I want to reproduce the original waveform as well..Any assistance understanding this software would be welcome.I also need to know what dft is doing relative to FFT.  I know it

Where can I go to change the default template?

Last week we upgraded to Windchill 12 and Creo 9.0 with CreoView Adapter 9.1. When we submit a job to the CreoView, the model files (parts and assemblies) publish fine and benerate thumbnails that dhow in Windchill. The drawings do not publish a viewable or a thumbnail. When I open a drawing in CreoView, it only opens a blank page, no drawing. Models open fine and can be viewed and manipulated.

I want to use parameters for assigning material to parts in assembly. What is key difference between PTC_MASS_DENSITY and MP_DENSITY?. Which one would be correct to assign density using parameters. Additionally what is correct syntax to assign material to part using parameter. As when I use PTC_MASS_MATERIAL = Aluminum it displays error. 

HiI am trying to find 4 unknows from an equation. But its giving me "0" as a solution. I have eight know variables in the equation, while I want to find the rest of 4 unknowns. Your help would be highly appreciated. I have attached the sheet of Mathcad 9. Best,Waqas  

Hi there, in the web.link "documentation" there is a function  boolean IsObjectCheckedOut (string WorkspaceName, string ObjectName)   within the "Class pfcServer" I tried  let active_ws = oSession.ListServers().Item(0).ActiveWorkspace; console.log (oSession.IsObjectCheckedOut(active_ws , CurModel.Filename));    But I only get "TypeError: oSession.IsObjectCheckedOut is not a function" How do I get the information, if an object is already checked out?   

I want to use negative integers in input as my coordinates of datum points are negative as well as positive. Is it possible to enter negative integer using Pro/Program.

Having a problem here, every time i try to perform a simple matrices multiply function, it shows as invalid array index , but surprisingly the same thing has worked in other systems.Please help. Have tried defining everything separately but the problem persists.     

I have wrote a ptgram that has no functionality only one class. And i can't register it in creo text directories are added protk.dat added but there is still an error.

Hello,I reinstalled Creo 6 recently. I didn't pay attention to my configuration options and the "save_file_iterations" configuration was set to yes. I modified my configuration options to no longer have the iteration for my next files and I understood that if my existing files have the iteration extension they will continue to have the iteration extension at each save.Hence my question: Is there a way of removing this iteration extension so that I can have "classic" files again?(I don't use Windchill).Thanks for your help.

In the default combined state of my part, I don't want the annotations to be present.  For those that come from a skeleton model, I can unassign them and they go away from the display. Problem is, upon regeneration, they come back as the systems re-assigns them to the combined active state.   I notice this auto-reassignment can be stopped by placing the source skeleton model into a state where the annotations are not shown.  I don't always remember to do this, so it becomes a bit of a pain in the neck to manage the display of annotations in my models.   I wonder if there is a config.pro setting that prevents this auto-addition of annotations.
