hello, when i tried to open creo nothing happened, neither as admin, in the taskbar or as a shortcut. Waiting didn't help either and nothing was visible in the task manager either. the wheel next to the mouse pointer opened briefly but then disappeared again shortly afterwards.now i have completely uninstalled creo and wanted to install it again, but now the setup.exe file cannot be opened after extracting it. the wheel next to the mouse pointer appears briefly again, but then disappears again immediately.If you run it twice in quick succession as an administrator, an error message appears that the program must first be closed. setup.exe does not work even after restarting several times.my setup: win 11 laptop with enough power to run creo 7 because i recently designed with creo but from one day to the next creo would not start anymore

When I try to have the stylesheet auto number the figure and tables, everything works fine....EXCEPT....the generated table number text is putting an additional period after the Table X.X  (See Published Output image below).   Looking into the generated text for Title in Table element (see below), it shows 1.1 as generated text for the PDF output. Looking further into the Number Details, it shows that it should only be producing Table X.X for a table title. (see below) But yet, somehow it is producing Table X.X.  Where is this extra period coming from?  Anyone have any idea? Thanks,John 

On Windchill 13.0.2.4. I have seen this many months ago so not a huge issue. It might be related to a customization we added to process representations from WTDocuments but here goes. User got an error message "No Space Left on This Device". Sure enough /tmp was at 100% of 1GB. Looking in folders, the Windchill temp folder was filled with 500+ font files with the pattern jr-font<some number>.ttf. These are about 0.5 MB each so eventually it filled up. I cleared out these files but I am sure to see this again. Any idea as to what its doing and why they are not being cleaned up. I suspect its related to something we added but just a quick guess.

Install         Every Windchill file that are used to display English words now has an additional similar file with the language (fr for French in this example).       Because these exist, each user can select their desired language (of those installed) at any time.   Default English:     Each user has this choice (list will include those language(s) which have been installed). Does not affect any other user. By moving English back to the top, it will revert to English at any time.             A

I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.6.0I have a part 1 (single body .prt) in which I cut the volume of a part 2 (single body .prt) through a boolean operation.After having modified the part 2, I updated the part 1: the part 2 positionning into part 1 was modified, the part 2 is turned upside-down into part 1.How to (re)define the positionning of part 2 relatively to part 1?

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.8The IDs of a new BusinessRule and BusinessRuleLink are different in the Database than in the LoadFile.Does the ID in the LoadFile matter, or can it be any given ID? If not, how to maintain an overview over the loaded BusinessRules?An export from the Database would be convenient, but the IDs aren't matching with the LoadFile. So I'm not sure what is correct.

Hi all,  Currently experiencing an issue with an Excel component on a colleagues computer. The Mathcad file, attached, works on my computer fine but not my colleagues. States his "excel is busy". Any ideas why it works on my computer but not my colleagues?   Many thanks,Iain  FYI, I am using Mathcad Prime 10.0.0.0 (and is my colleague).

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 10.2 and Datecode with CPS M010-CPS01I have 2 questions.1. In Windchill, under type and Attributes, we have one IBA attribute --- typeOfChange -- in which it contains the legal value list. I want this list to show as dropdown in M6 Template Report.Here are the errors that I facedThere is no error message. The report is not showing as dropdown if we have only legal value list. The report is encountered an error message if we add both the legal value list global enumeration. While adding both if we make disable the legal value list without completely removing then using the global enumeration it is showing as dropdown. But if any item has no spaces in between a word for example -- PART WAIVER, then the report is not fetching even though the records exist.

Version: Windchill 13.1 Use Case: Customize the tree by using asynchronous data transformation to implement TreeDataBuilderAsync, ComponentConfigBuilder, and ComponentConfigFactoryAware methods, and create non-persistent object beans. Add the String oid attribute and override the GetOid method.Description: I used non-sustainable objects to create a custom asynchronous data source TREE. When loading the child items, I found that the buildNodeData method's Object node was not the parent node object but NmSimpleOid. The parent node object was not extended but had a String oid attribute added and the getOid method was overridden. Now, I don't know how to obtain the parent node object through NmSimpleOid.

An engineer connects to a server via Remote Desktop and runs it from within Windchill Shell. We'd like to trigger it from a CD pipeline instead. Description: Hello All,   I've been using Windchill Shell interactively, i.e. launching `<WT_HOME>/bin/windchill shell` and then doing everything else in a session that opens. I can't figure out how to launch something (e.g., an Ant build script) under Windchill Shell in a "headless" mode, i.e. from a script (PowerShell, a batch file, a Bash script, ...)    It sounds like a common problem and I'm sure people do it all the time, but... how?   Thanks, Constantine
