I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.0 and Datecode with CPS N/A Is it possible to disable the uppercase constraint on the "Number" attribute? Because this constraint is already modeled (built-in), I cannot change it using my administrator account.

I have a great process for mass-printing or creating PDF’s from Creo View.  One of the key steps is collecting all the objects in Windchill and adding them to the clipboard. Does anyone know a way I can select an assembly, collect all the drawings of the assembly components and add them to the clipboard?  Anywhere I can get to that has the collection rules doesn’t seem to have Copy and anywhere that has Copy doesn’t seem to have a collector. Thanks in advance!

I accidentally created a new version of a part's model and drawings. I want to delete the files for this new part, but the operation keeps failing. What is the cause, and how can I resolve this?

Creo has neat functionality in the restricted parameter list.  Creo also has nice functionality in that you can import an .xml file to add parameters to a Model.  It would appear that these two do not play well together. I am trying to update legacy models that have missing parameters and my .xml import was working wonderfully until I updated my restricted parameter.lst file.   I get this message:   Is there any way to make the import work?  Is it a matter of my restrictions in my .lst not EXACTLY matching what I have in the .xml?

Hello, I have random lines on my part and don't know how to hide them. These lines are the exact ones that show when saving an STL file. Does someone know how I can get rid of them?

When a document is checked out via Office / Desktop integration, is being edited and then checked back into Windchill+, the browser page needs to be update in order to see that the version increment of the document has changed and that the check in process has been successful.Goal: when checking in the document from Office / Desktop integration, browser will update automatically to the new version of the document.

Hi All,I’m facing an appearance‑related issue when importing STEP AP214 files into Creo 11, and I’m looking for guidance or best practices.Workflow and Issue:I export a STEP file (AP214 format) from Fusion 360. When I import this STEP file into Creo 11 as an assembly, all components appear with the default grey appearance. However, when I clear the assembly‑level appearance in Creo, the original part‑level appearances/colors are restored correctly. The same STEP file opens correctly with appearances intact in Autodesk Inventor, without any manual steps.STEP Schema Used:FILE_SCHEMA (('AUTOMOTIVE_DESIGN { 1 0 10303 214 3 1 1 }'));Questions:Is there a way in Creo 11 to retain the original appearances automatically when importing STEP AP214 assemblies? I noted this before I left for vacation after I installed this patch for both my DEV and TEST environments. Things appeared ok for the most part except when viewing a Part Structure tab. Using WC 13.0.2.4 on RHEL 9. Behavior is you get a blank tab that never responds, just the spinning loading wheel. Other tabs and pages appear fine. No error messages appear in MS log. Not a browser cache issue as I cleared my cache 100%. Patch does recompile jars and js files so anything could happen. I need to verify it but I believe the cause is related to file permissions. I see the error in Apache logs. Just need to validate it before closing thread.

Greetings, Looking for ideas on how to report sum length of cable spool based on custom length per spool segment used in cable harness.example:spool A - length=L1, custom_length (driven from relation) =CL1, spool used N1 times in harness.total length of spool A =?the problem i have is that I can’t make any relation as there is no way to use rep.qty for cable spools in a harness.summation function is also not very flexable. I would prefer if it was function then I could create a relation with If (example: if spool a name==A sum).Is there another simpler way to solve it? Practically best solution I found is to generate the table  > export to CSV > make simple excel relation.

I am the IT guy , not a user of CREO. For no apparent reason, our company has stayed on Creo 6 for a long time and it is beginning to cause some issues. The download isnt even on the site directly. Seems to be lack of support for newer PCs, etc. I only anticipate more problems.  Question is: How much trouble is it going to be to upgrade to 12 from 6 in terms of people learning the new software and problems opening files? Can the 2 co-exist on a PC in case there were a problem. 

For creo 10.0.5.0, while loading large assemblies from our network drive, it takes 4-5 times more time for me than the other users. Made my colleague login to my machine and run the same test. It was slow for him as well. tell us the issue is machine specific. Tried the first 3 resolutions from this article and still no improvements.Article - CS49886 - Loading/saving assemblies from/to network drives is much slower than from/to a local disk in Creo Parametric Is it something escalating to PTC would help?thanks.

HiI am on Creo 10.0.9.0As detailed in the picture below, as I increase the value of the Transparency, opacity increases. Shouldn't it be named to Fill Opacity instead of Fill Transparency?Hope I am not missing anything.

Hello,I want to use Creo for simulations, but I can't access the simulation interface.The button under Application > Simulate is grayed out. I working on one of my projects. As per my application, I want to take data from DCS over TCP/IP into kepware. From kepware i want to publish those data over opc da for other SCADA/DCS that works as opc da client. My quetion is does kepware works as OPC DA server for this application?
