Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue with a Thing-based DataChange event (Generic).I have a Thing (Dataset) that contains a property and a DataChange event bound to it.The event works perfectly fine with administrator user but now for other user which is not administrator and have rights on this project only.     However, when I test with another user account, the event does not trigger at all — even though: I’ve already granted full Run Time permissions (Property Read/Write, Service Execute, Event Execute, Event Subscribe) to the user group. I’ve also given Visibility permissions to the Thing. Still, the event only works for the admin user.   Could anyone please confirm what exact permissions are required for a DataChange event to trigger correctly for non-admin users?

Hello- my question is with dimensioning When adding a model driven dimension sometimes the leader lines touch the part.Is there a quick way to clean these up instead of dragging the drag button over? Or is there a setting to have a certain space be the standard on the drawings? Please advise. Thank You,George Dominguezgeorge.dominguez@roberthsaw.com

Why is the diameter symbol box shape? Wherever I dimension a round feature, it show this box as diameter symbol (and R as radius symbol). However, in a different drawing, the correct diameter symbol shows up but with bold font, which is another problem. I have waited for several days before posting for help. Which configuration options should be checked? Thanks.

Hello I have followed all the steps as mentioned in the article, I have installed the new tomcat 9.0.110 but my thingworx is still redirected to older tomcat version if I stop that thingworx page is not loading  Two questions  1) do we need to use older(9.0.88) web.xml and server.xml and copy into new tomcat webapps  2) I was not able to understand point 6 in the article  https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS272588 as it says directly copy the older ones and paste into new tomcat folder  VS  Point 19 and 20 says that we need to edit web.xml and server.xml https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/platform/r9/en/index.html#page/ThingWorx/Help/Installation/Installation/install_java_and_apache_tomcat.html#wwID0E4KGM do we need to remove the older tomcat folder from  C:\Program Files (x86)\ThingWorxFoundation\tomcat

I have a python code that reads data from excel and sends to kepware, I am trying to set this up and setup the tags in kepware as a server, and the python as a client. This will eventually be connected to a DeltaV system which is another client, but for now I want to test my code sending data into Kepware. Which drivers should I use for this purpose? 

Just as i thought the problem was solved it went back. I tried resetting my pc and downloading everything from scratch. I have a lenovo with windows 11 home. Everytime i try saving a document a corrupt saving page pops up. i will attach it here. It happens when i use; save as, save or any type of export.I have tried reinstalling several times, also as administrator, and it has the same outcome.When running the program as admin it gives 3 more seconds on the save window but inevitably it crashes again. I made sure i unpacked the download zip-file locally and not using onedrive. Also i placed the app locally.  Background info: Im a danish student at Aarhus university. They supply license to mathcad prime 10.0.0.0 and is therefore my only way of downloading the program. I have got a new pc as the old one got destroyed, and now the problem is occuring. Hi all,can someone explain to me why an empty Creo Illustrate file is so large? I mean, I've always wondered why the files are so large. But I've only just noticed that even my empty CI files (i.e. without a pvz file) are 83 MB in size.That's about the same size as my own ‘standard’ file (that has 83MB) . But of course, my entire symbol library is included in that standard.But it wouldn't make any sense to store the entire symbol library in every CI file!?Does anyone know what's going on here? Best regards,Ramon Bohne(Siemens-Energy)

I often struggle to get Mathcad Prime to return symbolic solutions. I suspect I’m missing something in the way I set up or call the symbolic engine, so if anyone can point me to a good tutorial or explanation of best practices, I’d really appreciate it.I’ve attached a worksheet with the equations. Hello,My motivation was to create a pattern of points to be used as measurements (in this case the rotation of these points in relation to a selected CS in the main assembly)As rotation cannot be used in solid elements, I created a pattern of point to points linked by rigid links to do the job. This is after imported in the main assembly and finally patterned. My hope was to not have to define rotation measurement manually from each point later. With measurements in a pattern, this would be made automatically by Creo Simulate.However, I cannot select this pattern using the “pattern” option for anything – but I can use other patterns – and this does not make sense.Is there a bug or a limitation that is not clear? Hi,Creo 11.0.4.We use Auto Ballooning to some degree but I am 'new' to their usage. I am a bit sceptical regarding them and many shortfalls seem to be fired at me that is 'putting me off'. One of the main aspects is not being able to use Auto Balloons with Simplified Rep Views in a drawing. I have been using Simplified Reps extensively over many years and ballooning using a basic symbology method. Simplified Reps has been a standard basic functionality tool within Creo for many years and I find it difficult to accept that PTC have not enabled Auto Ballooning to be possible in conjunction with Simplified Reps in a drawing. IS THIS STILL TRUE???
