Version: Windchill 12.0 Use Case: Loader failed during windchill PDMlink 12 installation.Description: the installation completed almost 63% where it shows an error "Loader Failed".the method server logs shows "license error: capability response is null. if valid license is not acquired, method server will shut down in 330 minutes." I've already installed Oracle (software only), DS (from version 11).when i ran the PSI, i had chosen option "configure license later".  i am installing windchill to learn customization. i don't have any license. kindly suggest. Br,Sandeep C.

Hi all,I have a curve driven pattern that is propagating in the wrong direction.  I rerouted my sketch to the other end of the curve and all is good - but in a more complex example, and for future reference, how can I simply flip the direction?  I checked and unchecked the option "follow curve direction" - that seemed not to affect the pattern.  I would have thought that I could click the yellow arrow, but that does not work.  Any hints?Thanks!-Nate

I'm looking for an option to reset component display style. One of our users set the component display style for individual part or subassembly, rather than for complete assembly. Hi everyone,I am a user of CREO Parametric 12.4.0.0 Academic Edition.I created a quite complex multi assembly model and, while regenerating it (Operations > Regenerate), I get this message saying that some reference loop has been created. : 1 CIRCULAR REFERENCE LOOPS FOUNDLOOP # 1Depth of loop is 4Feature number 26 (COMPONENT, id = 78) in model ASM07-Z-PLAMA-HEAD refers to:Feature number 7 (COMPONENT, id = 44) in model ASM07-Z2-ASSEMBLY refers to:Feature number 4 (COMPONENT, id = 40) in model ASM07-Z2-ASSEMBLY refers to:Feature number 26 (COMPONENT, id = 78) in model ASM07-Z-PLAMA-HEAD - circle closed. I understand what a Circular Reference Loop is, but I am not able to locate the features and/or  components, based on the information given in the in the message.  So my question is : How can I highlight the components and feature that create this reference loop ? Thank you for any help ! Yves

Hello Team,We are using Windchill PDMLink 12.1.2.7.By mistake, the Publishing / CAD Worker jobs were deleted from Queue Management. After this, publish jobs are no longer available, and visualization/thumbnails are missing for multiple CAD Documents.The Bulk Republish / Bulk Operations option is not available in the UI, even with Site Administrator access.Could you please advise:Whether deleted publishing queue jobs can be recovered (or confirmed as not recoverable)The supported method to bulk republish all CAD Documents and recreate CAD Worker publish jobs

Hi Community,I’m using ThingWorx 10.0.0 and working with high-frequency properties named property1 and property2 that update very often.If these are marked as Logged = TRUE, they generate a large amount of history data and can impact system performance.Proposed ApproachBefore I implement anything, this is the strategy I’m considering to log values only every X minutes:1. Keep original properties unlogged (Logged = FALSE).2. Create separate periodic properties (Logged = TRUE, DataChange = ALWAYS).3. Use a Timer to write values to these periodic properties every X minutes:me.property1_periodic = me.property1; me.property2 = me.property2;This would store history only at fixed intervals instead of every update.Looking for SuggestionsIs this a good approach?Are there any built-in features or alternative strategies for periodic logging that I should consider before implementing this?I’d appreciate any recommendations or best practices from the community.

Hi Community,I am trying to perform a FEA Analysis for the below assembly with contacts. I am interested in a Non-Linear Static Analysis using the preload in the bolts, internal pressure in the pipe and axial load on the flange. I have defined custom time functions for these loads as per the needs but whenever I run the study, it fails throwing up a UI Library error. Can anyone guide me what needs done in such cases?I have defined custom materials for the Gasket and the Rubber springs for its Density, Poissons ratio and its Youngs modulus and I hope that should be sufficient but still unsure if that might be the primary reason for UI Library Failure as the system does not recognize these custom materials?Any Inputs are highly appreciated. When I upload a file, it shows the file below with an "x" to remove the file as well. However, I need to remove this "x" because there is no bindable event to removing an item. Instead, I have a button to clear the items which then triggers some other services.  How do I remove the "x" button from this widget as shown below? Thingworx 9.6

I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and DatecodeM050Hello,We have Mathcad 15 M050 and one of our users would like to save their files to their network share but when opening files from their share and trying to edit them they get a message that it is "read only" and when trying to create a new file and save it they get a message "that the file is in use and to save it using a different name". We came across this post: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/MathCAD-File-can-only-be-opened-in-READ-ONLY-from-server/td-p/646022 and they mentioned that it is a known issue for M050. Hello Community, I am trying to find a way to monitor or check the amount of triggers the DB thing is creating and whether that is contributing to the performance of the ThingWorx due to load getting created on the SQL server from where I am getting data.I am aware of the C3P0 thread count which can be used to monitor the DB connections, but that is specific to the default persistence provider. I am fetching data from multiple DBs using MS SQL DB Thing connectors.I want to know if there is any way we can monitor the queue size and active connections.So, in the DB Thing Configuration tab, the JDBC connection settings has an option of Maximum Number of Connections which is set to 5 and there's also an option to enable monitoring. But I am trying to understand how I can do the monitoring even if it is enabled.Also, how to monitor the active connections out of the maximum 5 and the requests or the queue size to the DB thing at a regular interval. Hi there, I have a variable with 100 values inside and I want to check every 5 values to find the minimum between them. I need to do that through the entire values ... this means 20 times . I tried to write it this way but not working :  z , and q are related to each other . q is the resistance at z depth .. the results I expect is : the program will check q at each z and will choose the minimum (q , 15MPa) but will do this in intervals 5 values by 5 values .  the sheet can't be attached again .
