I have used Modbus Device Simulator (PyModbus) to run 200 Battery, 90 PCS and 10 FIP Modbus devices on localhost each with 1000+ registers.The simulator created devices sequentially from a port you specify, e.g. 300 devices starting on port 6001 will occupy the ports 6001-6300 with specified number of registers. Refer the attached test screenshots.All simulator devices are working correctly and can see values update with open ModScan client software, but all the values are zeroed in the OPC Quick client and in FT View Live Data Test Client even though the comms quality is Good. Refer the ModScan Output image.Unfortunately, I cannot set the ports for the channels independently. As soon as I change the port on one channel, same port gets assigned for all channels. I tried using FactoryTalk Live Data Test Client, with static registers (no random values) and I was able to read and write values from OPC and FT test client. The KepServer Enterprise 6.18 and the monitoring

Hi, I have a DLL with .Net Framework in c#. I want to integrate this Dll into Mathcad. I tried lots of method to integrate this but software didn't recogniz this Dll. I also add this Dll prime/Custom functions and the same file. I also make a wrapper dll with using c++ and add as reference this c# dll. But it doesn't work. Could you please help me?

By setting the "ModelCHECK Configuration" one can configure multiple configurations for different Lifecycles (Lifecycle Names! not Lifecycle States)  <Lifecycle_1>:<mch_file1>,<mcs_file1> <Lifecycle2>:<mch_file2>,<mcs_file2>...​This is well documented in the PTC Help chapter: Configuring ModelCHECK in WindchillBut this is not a realistic example.  I am looking for a way to configure the “ModelCHECK configuration” so that different configurations can be used regardless of the lifecycle name (we only have one). This is because there is usually only one lifecycle for Creo data.e.g.:<Lifecycle_1>:<mch_file1>,<mcs_file1> < Lifecycle_1>:<mch_file2>,<mcs_file2>... Does on have a hint for me?   

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I am trying to understand if it possible to ensure that change tasks inherit the number of the change notice to form the prefix of their own unique identifier. For example, if there was a change notice called "12345" which had two change tasks included on it, I would like those change tasks to have numbers of "12345-001" and "12345-002".Description: Can anybody advise if this is possible?

I'm trying to make a custom symbol that will act as a bubble number. We want to be able to have the number inside the bubble count up by one from its last iteration. The number in the bubble would need to be a variable text so we can always modify the number, and have it count up from the number input if the symbol is repeated from that iteration.EX: I use my custom symbol to put a bubble on the drawing and change the number to 10. When right clicking on the "10" bubble and repeating the symbol, it should give me a bubble with the number 11 in it.  Is this something that would require the drawing to have custom parameters that calculate the last value and uses an equation to work? Is this possible to apply also to the repeat mode when putting the symbol on the drawing?

Version: Windchill 13.0   Use Case: Would like to have a change review object template (like we do for change notices) Description: Two part question as I'm starting to play more with change review objects.  These are considered Change objects... so why is it that they can't be templated on the Templates tab like change notices can?  I'd like to add a table to the long description field of the peer review object. Keeping in mind the first question, is there a way to do this without templating the object?

IMHO the first line should evaluate OK. Reason for Prime failing is because it automatically assigns the 0  an "appropriate" unit even though Prime is not using SUC (static unit check).  As a result, Prime naturally refuses to add 0 kg and the unitless 1. A unitless value different from 0 works OK as can be seen in the second line. Workaround (which should not be necessary) is using "zero" instead of "0".   There is no problem if the vector contains values of different dimensions or even      

In CREO cabling I have 8 cables going to one location in a flat grouping.Is there any way to re-organize the order of each wire in a flat grouping at a location?   For example, in the images below I would like the red and black wire to stay in the same order as they come on the right.The final result I'm looking for is pink on top, then green, red, blue, black, white, light blue, white.This would be accomplished by moving red down 2 spots and black down 4 spots in the flat group.  Then it wouldn't look like all the wires are crossing over each other. Using CREO 8.0.0.0 on Windows 11.   

MC15 allows a label to be added to an area, so when it's collapsed the label can be seen. In Prime 9.0 I can create areas but can't figure out how to add the labels.  In MC15, when I collapsed all the areas, the labels showed the analysis/calculation flow which is real nice. Is this functionality lost in prime? 

I have entered 5 queries to the Knowledgebase this morning and they have all return just a blank page. Is there an issue for others with the Knowledgebase or is it just me?  

Hi,  I’m looking for help with a formatting issue in the footer of the attached document.As part of our design submission, we are including various calculations in the appendices and would like them to appear in an orderly manner. For referencing purposes, we’ve attempted to include the appendix number alongside the page number in the footer of each calculation (see attached example).Could you advise on how to align the formatting so that there is no visible misalignment between the appendix number and the page number? I am using Mathcad Prime 10.0.0.0 Kind regards,Iain 

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.9.0From one day to the next, the path for "pro_format_dir" and "start_model_dir" which are properly configured do not seem to work anymore.When starting a new part or assembly, it does not provide our start model.Same thing for the drawing, does not list our format.Here are the errors that I facedNo error, it simply does not bring our custom start_model and format

I can't seem to consistently get the Read/Write Default User Account when I need it.  Any thoughts on what is grabbing it or how to find out what User has it?  Much less a way to boot them off and wrest control.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 12.4 and Datecode12.4.1.0Hello, I use Creo Parametric and the composite module. We want to export the laminate defined in Creo Composite to .nas, and we can have two types of export: (.nas + .iges) or .h5. Neither of these two solutions allows us to output a .nas in IGS with the correct properties directly integrated. Is there a way to link the .nas properties with a step or IGS? Furthermore, the exported mesh is very poor; are there parameters that exist to improve it? Thank you in advance.

Version: Windchill 12.0 Use Case: I have created a custom Report template at ORG level, this query builder report will generate results for all Problem Reports which were "COMPLETED" in past 7 days,Description: I have also exposed this template as Reports in Library context, but when I run the report in any Library context, it gives me results from every context and not specific to the Library context where I am running this from.Is there any way I can specify context specific search based on where I execute this report from?

I have an excel database full of serial numbers for parts. I am wondering if it is possible to import these serial numbers to PLM from the spreadsheet as part instances. The parts already exisit in PLM i just want to add all my serial numbers as part instances.Not sure if this is possible in windchill
