Hi all there,Does anybody have autoaxis for 32 and 64bit, for Wildfire 5?thank you very much!!!best regards,-- ----------------------------nk/.
Anyone have a simple 3D (Pro/E or IGES, etc.) or even 2D CAD (dxf or dwg) rendition of a black hawk helicopter? I just need it as a back drop. Do not need a great amount of detail. Found it online....but they want big bucks.
Afternoon All,Has anyone run across the vertical black line symbol, shown below, whilein NC? The sequence is completely defined and the play path looks good. Anyonehave a clue what this symbol is indicating? ThanksBrian
How can you change a customers dxf scale to 1:1in wildfire 3
Hi alls,I have to analyse a floor steel structure under static pressure and it's not a problem.furthermore, I have to analyse it also under displacement of a trolley and they speak about fast movement. So, any ideas on how to consider fast motion in mechanica structure ?Thanks,GB
Hi all, i have a simple relation d8=p1*p2, where p1=206 & p2=1.0065 making d8=207.339ok, here is my problem, i want this value to be exactly 207.3400, but rounded to 2 decimal places, so 207.34, now i know about floor & ceil, if i write the realtion with floor (,2), then i get 207.33 (exactly) & if i write the relation with ceil (,2), then i get 207.34 (exactly). So what is the problem you ask, i have the required value of 207.34, but the next time d8 might equal 169.229, floored would give 169.22, but i would require 169.23. Once the relation is written, it is written, i don't want to get into a situation where i have to keep swapping between floor & ceil to achieve a correct rounding up or down. I will give a couple more examples of what i want to achieve, in the hope that somebody understands my requirements.actual value 223.234, required value 223.2300, but rounded to 2 places, so 223.23actual value 125.987, required value 125.9900, but rounded to 2 places, so 125.9
Does anyone have a model of an extension spring that they would be willing to share??Fred J. Matthis-
Hi,In Pro/e wildfire 5.0 version, Edit-setup tab is missing which contains the different menumanager options. These options are available in Pro/e 4.0 and earlier versions. Where are these tabs placed in the current version 5.0?
i have a flexible hose-pipe that is attached to a skeleton-frame that will rotate up to 90 degrees. in the flat position it a has a free length of roughly 600mm. when the arm is rotated it has a length of roughly 670mm (free length).i want to be able to run an analysis with the angle as the variable to drive the hose length change so that in the flat position it maintains the longest length needed from the rotated length (I have changed the hose section flex shape to a fixed length for the curve ).what is the best way to achieve this while maintaining tangency?I should also mention that the point to point hose length I'm talking about is from the fitting to the first clamp (hidden in these pictures).so if there is a way for pro-e to calculate what the longest length of the hose will be when rotated while in the flat position i would love to know.thank you
We just moved over to m070 of creo from wf3 m240. We have now found an issue for items that were imported as neutral files imported into wf3 not opening in creo. We are also on windchill 9.1 m050. I have gone back to wf3 and can still open these items. I Have tried to do a save and go back to creo and they still will not open. has anyone seen anything like this anywhere?
Hi, has anyone got some good links to a relatively new user to Mechanica.TIA
Hi folks! Sorry for my prompt "No there is not..." Mario found a solution for this, as shown below: Tks for sharing Mario! Best regards, Daniel

Hey all,Can you import solidworks files into pro-e?D
Does anybody know how to create a PV file with 3D annotations and View 3D annotations and set this up in Windchill?thanks for your help
I have been talking to a user today who has shown me a bunch of Lego models he created in Pro/ENGINEER for practicing while at university. I have seen many Lego items recently, not only here in PlanetPTC Community, but also other fun stuff, like the Buzz Lightyear model. So my question for today is: do you use Pro/ENGINEER in your spare time to create fun stuff? Or maybe the job that pays your rent IS fun? What is the coolest item you have ever designed with Pro/ENGINEER?Let us know! Can't wait to see your models 🙂Bettina
Solved the issue with a server reboot on both the Oracle and Windchill servers. We did have a power outage last night, but I thought both servers had been rebooted after power was restored.Thank you,Ben H. LoosliUSEC, INC.
We upgraded to WF4 yesterday and 1 user is having problems getting his workspace registered to WF.In WF3, I can get the server name and location entered, press Check, then select a workspace before it locks up.In WF4, pressing the Check locks him up.He has removed all files from his old workspaces and removed the workspaces. He has alsodeleted the .pdm9 folder that holds the workspaces in the OS.We are on Windchill 9 m050 and Wildfire 3-m170, WF4-m150.There are about 12 users who sucessfully did the upgrade. Just 1 that is giving us fits.
Do you know a good website to download 3D models of wood screws? It would be great to have a large selection of sizes and different heads. Thanks,Kevin
Hello,Is there an visibility of up and coming functionality in Mechanisms?(and Mechanica and fatigue advisor)Thanks
We just purchased Manikin & Manikin Analysis. I took the on-line course for manikin, but I can't find any documentation on either Manikin or Manikin Analysis.Help inside ProE doesn't return anything with "manikin" as the search. Learning Connector, doesn't return anything either.Anyone know where the documentation is hiding?David HaighPhone: 925-424-3931Fax: 925-423-7496Lawrence Livermore National Lab7000 East Ave, L-362Livermore, CA 94550
I don't know if it is just me, but I find that the maintaining a specific origin for the model to be difficult if I'm trying and that I can probably expect to see many models from the Creo Direct app to have arbitrary origins and that it really does not matter. This is a difficult issure for me to let go off as I have always (even coming from an AutoCAD background) liked to see a definitive origin.
Is there any way to import external analysis from Excel multi-sheet file to ProE?For example: I have Excel spreadsheet with 10 sheets and need to connect my model with sheet #5.When I tried ProE always connect with sheet#1.
