Hi, I have created a 3rd model and I have created relations to drive its dimensions through excel. I have called the excel into creo through Excel analysis tab available in analysis tab and created different Analysis feature so that it can take value from the excel & after that I have used that analysis feature in the relation so that it can drive its dimensions.   But once I changed the location of the Excel than the relations are not working.  so, how to resolve this issue did I need to make new relations or how can we make the excel file location independent so that it does not affect the relations created inside the creo enviroment.   Any suggestions are welcomed...   Regards, Shubham Mehta

Hi, I want to fully automate the creo like through UI i will enter the value to the modify the parts & assembly. As a UI I have created user interface in the excel and currently I am thinking to import the value from the excel only.   My main concern is that through excel i want to automate such that it should automatically update the assembly also its related drawing (with its dimensions) . In drawing it should change the scale of the 3 views that is top right and front such that it should look like filled drawing rather than for eg if i had A2 sheet size and in that there is bigger box than the drawing looks completely filled with particular scale of the views, while if i change the parameters of the box such that its smaller then the previous one then it should automatically change its scale so that drawing is completely filled.   So can we do this VBA or what can be the other better option to do this whole process automatically through a script.   Any responses a

Recently I try to study the function ProAsmcompCreateCopy by C language, and always gotten the return of -26. After checking the menu, -26 means  PRO_TK_NOT_VALID   Required license not found. so would like to know does it need other special license for this function? thanks.

Dos this mean that Java API will be not available? No J-link, No Java Object?

Hello all,   Does anyone know visit functions that help to extract constraints information(tangency) from sketch to be used in Creo toolkit.   I searched toolkit  documentations.. there was no information.   My toolkit application  just extracts just horizontal and vertical constraints into XML, but doesn't pull tangency constraints..   Does anyone have idea. or solution to fix this..?      

Hi all,   I am using Creo Toolkit to develop a Dialog and there is an option menu component. After I set the properties of the option menu as below, I can get a dialog as shown in the picture. I also tried using the following functions to change it. But it did not work. I have been writing ProToolkit on and off for 20 years using C.    I have a 1991 programming education, so Object oriented programming looks rather foreign to me.    Can anyone recommend a training class on Object oriented program that would prepare me for writing  ProToolKit OTK?      Is there a point where we will be forced to convert all proToolkit  to OTK?    Thanks!    

Hi, Actually, I have to export all the 3D CAD model dimensions or CAD assembly dimension in to the excel so how it is possible through the programming as I have to this exercise repeatedly irrespective of the model (CAD assembly) so I thought it's better to write program for this. Does it is beneficial to control or export through VBA or what could be the easy approach to get all the dimensions... Any approach or suggestions are welcome.   Thank you, Shubham.

Hi, I am trying to figure out what the problem is with my Toolkit. I have a toolkit (DLL) that I compiled using VS2010 and it works fine. Now I am trying to do some modification to it and compile it for Creo4. In the mean time change computer, so no more VS2010 installed. I get this message:   Anyone can give me a hint on how to fix this? Here's some settings: The only change from my previous compile, id the Creo path change from Creo 2 to Creo4, and also the "protk_dll_NU.lib" was "protk_dll.lib".   Thanks

Hi All,   I am develop a toolkit program using C/C++ on Creo Parametric 4.0 M090. One of the function is to read a existing excel file. I tried the spawn mode and it works well. The program reads the Excel file cells successfully. But , when I transform my VS project to DLL mode, it stops working. The error information shows that it is failed to initialize COM library with an error code 0x80010106.   Could you give me some help on how to deal with the import COM in DLL mode?   Thanks, ZR Liu

Hi there,   how can the browser cache be disabled in embedded chromium browser? Some sources say, that You just can open Chrome and disable it via settings -> more tools -> developer tools -> Network -> "disable cache". But this seems only to work for the "real" chrome browser and has no effect on the embedded browser.   In the embedded chrom(ium) browser only refreshes the base page (e.g. test.php) and its included javascript (<script src="test.js" type="text/javascript" ></script>) but not javascript files, that were included afterwards ( document.write("<script type=\"text/javascript\" src=\"my-lib.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>'); )   any help would be appreciated. I am using Creo Parametric - Release 4.0 (connected) 4.0 M130Hi Team,I am using Visual Studio 2015 to create a function to loop through Creo parts and store them in a vector/map.When I try to include #include & #include into the solution, it throws up many errors.I did check the similar issue raised on PTC(https://community.ptc.com/t5/Customization/toolkit-c-include-failed/m-p/578733#M7858), but even after following those steps the errors still remained.

I am trying Web.Link demo program comes with Creo 2 or Creo 5 at ". . . \Common Files\<DateCode>\weblink\weblinkexamples\html\pfcComponentFeatExamples.html" I have resolved some trivial problems of PTC's demo program (so works fine on Windows 10 with Creo embedded IE browser). The attachment pfcComponentFeatExamples.zip contains all needed files to reproduce the problem.   The error message is as shown above.
