Hi Everyone, I am some what new in thingworx., right now i am using thingowrx 8.4 version. i want to complete one task where i need select multiple Item from an dropdown list and pass all selected item to an services and base on selected item need to fetch some other details from database table.  Till the time I can able to select multiple item by enabling  multi-selected property of dropdown , but i don't know how i can pass it to an services, do i need to created datashape ? if yes then what should be there filed ? is there any other option to complete this work ?    Thanks in advance,

Hi ,  My customer has 700 devices connected to ThingWorx in factory A.  The customer wants to has another 1000 devices in factory B  connected to ThingWorx next year. Single server may not stand it , so I'm thinking the horizontal scalability.  I only found guide for high available deployment but didn't find guide for horizontal scalability deployment ,  does ThingWorx support cluster deployment for horizontal scalability ?    Regards, Sean

I'm currently providing my collection widget mashups through a service that provides: the mashup name, the width, the height, and some extra text. I want my FlowLayoutGravity property to be "Edge" but when I set that the first cell is correctly on the left, but additional cells are being pushed to the right and leaving space in between cells that is not desired. What am I doing wrong here?

I have binded info table with collection widget and datashape of that info table has one primary key field. and I have checked allowSelection and autoSelectFirstRow property of collection widget but row selection is not working with collection widget.Please let me know what can be the issue.

I'm trying to make custom CSS that applies when my collection's cells have both "selected" and "hover" status, but I don't know how to describe the selector to change the CSS. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi,   I am trying to make a specific row in drop down menu as unselectable. All the other records in  the widget should be selectable except for one row.   Similarly, a specific row in advanced grid should be unselectable.However, all the other records should be selectable.   Using row format property, I was able to change the styles of particular row. I have attached screenshot for reference in which CSP Packaging is grayed out but I also want to disable its selection.Any lead on this is appreciable.   Regards, MishiK

Hello,We are starting with ThingWorx and we need to know what can be done with this software and how to do it. I would like to know more about the use of labels and label templates. I have tried to create and use it and I think it is useful to search and find entities in the composer. But I would like to know more about the use of tags in a runtime context. Do you have any examples of how the tags and model tags could be used in such a context? Could they be associated with a user/user groups...etc. Thanks

I have one service "service_A" which returns "infotable A" on mashup loaded.  this infotable will pass as output data to repeater "repeater_r". I have another one service "service_B" which act as a filter. service_B is also returning same "infotable_A" as output. I want to keep service_A output data on repeater_A  on mashup loaded. Meanwhile on particular event fired from widget  service_B will get invoke and output of it will bind to repeater_A.   can I bind two different service output data to the same repeater?

Hi,   After connecting KEPServerEX 6 to ThingWorx (isConnected property is true) I want to import tags from devices running in Kepware to properties. Although I the the error of "Unable to execute service BrowseGroups on name of industrial thing" as seen in the picture below. What can be the root cause of this? I get the same error when I try the manage remote bindings on the deviceThing. Thank you in advance

Can you please help us out with a detailed explanation? Also, If we create an external Login page and SSO into ThingWorx, can we still control and maintain the user, usergroup, Visibility, run time and design time controls via ThingWorx?

This is the service and alertAttr is my infotable having (limit with data type int and limitInclusive with data type boolean) How can I add an alert using AddOrUpdate service? I made a password text box but I want to do that if any one copy from that password textbox and paste in another textbox it will not decry-pt the password.then how can I  do this please suggest me.

i created a subscription to an alert (on the same object). the subscription is enabled. i set the value of the property to the value that launch the alert i checked that the alert was issued (from monitor > Alert History) but the subscription code is never executed? how can i debug this issue?

From mashup i have to get time alone as input. Is it possible? I tried by using Date Time PIcker, but through that i can customize and get date.  But i want time alone. Is any other widget there? or any other solutions??

I am seeing this same behavior with the defaultMapicon on the google maps widget.  I have created a new user group and added it to a global group and organization that has visibility and Run Time access to the Google Map Thing.  I did not actually see a resolution even though it states it is solved.
