Dear Community,yet another question for you; regarding the Beckhoff TwinCat driver;I only want to import OPC Variables which I have marked/commented in TwinCat.I commented them as intented for the OPC-Import:(*~ (OPC:1:available for OPC Clients)(OPC_PROP[0005] : 1 : read only)*)Unfortunately, when I import the device with"Respect OPC Read/Write Item Properties", "Respect Tag Case On Import" and "Only Import Variables Marked for OPC" enabled no tags at all are created.Why? Am I doing something wrong? I do not have any additional filters configured.Thanks in advance for your help.Kind regards,Kepware User

Reason: sp_cursor: The value of the parameter 'value' is invalid. I check the value which generated default and only rename the " value name " and not for the data type. can you help me which can cause error?

I would like to communicate with the Johnson Controls NAE and Schneider SmartX controllers through BACnet I/P driver of your KEPSeverEX software. However, I have difficulties in configuration details: When attempting automatic tag generation for a node under Schneider SmartX Controller, the diagnostics window displayed completed status (only built-in tags generated by KEPServer BACnet I/P driver is available) but the following two warnings:"Error reading segmentation supported from remote device. Hi, i am using KEPServerEX 6, connected to Mitsubishi PLCs through Mitsubishi Ethernet Driver, Q Series Model. Total there are 5 connections with the same configurations and settings, and 4 are communicating fine. However for the remaining 1 PLC, i am able to ping to the IP address of the plc, but when i run the OPC Quick Client, i am getting Bad for Quality and Unknown for Value. However, occasionally i am able to get good quality with proper values from the plc. I would like to know how should i go about troubleshooting it, thank you.    

I'm having problems troubleshooting an SLC5/05 tag syntax.  I am using Open Addressing and both of my OPC UA utilities required imported tags.  Any tools or utilities I can use?

Dear Sir,                I want to Copy a column in excel sheet with 1000 cell value to Siemens S7 1500(Excel =>  Kepserver Ex(DDE) => Siemens PLC ).the only way up till now for me i write 1000 tags 3 time manually one time to define Siemens PLC tags ,second time in DDE, third time define in advanced tags . so there's any way to assign 1000 tags for example as array or any way?. Hi All,I'm facing an issue with KEPSERVER EX and MODBUS TCP/IP.I have one Channel for MODBUS communication and in it 8 devices (each has 16 tags). Each of it commucating with same IP but with different ID to read data from different channels.When I have only 5 devices, all works fine. When I add more, I'm not able to read devices from ID5 to 8 (warning - device is not responding), but the first 4 still works fine.I've tried to separate devices to other channel, tried to raise the Scan rate to 20 seconds for each tag. but nothing helped.I've tried to read the IDs from vendors app, which is communication also over modbus and it works fine for all devices in same time. do you have any suggestions/ideas what to do?Many thanks  

We recently update Kepware version but start some error with a driver of control logix 5500 the plc is some old and have the firmware version 20.0, and some times lose connection and try to generate the tags but fail until we start the create tags of the driver some know why happen this or some advise

Hi. We are installing a trial verison of Kepware on our VM Hyper-V to see if the OPC server is working before we are ordering a license. But i just getting bad quality from the Mitsubishi PLC. The server is a 2019 windows server. When im trying from my Windows 11 computer is working with no problem. I have disabled anti-virus, firewall everything and still not working.Any suggestions?   

Hello everybody, I´m struggling an issue with KepserverEX 6.11 and OPC UA client. I´m trying to add a tag, "ProgramPointer", from ABB IoT Gateway 1.3 and I´m getting this message in the event log: "OPC UA Client ABB_IoT.R21 | UA data type not supported. Tag cannot be imported. | Tag name = 'ns=3;s=2600-11****_2600-11****/RAPID/T_ROB1/ProgramPointer', UA data type node id = 'ns=2;i=15108'". I´ve tried to connect to the ABB IoT gateway (OPC UA-server) with a couple of other OPC UA clients and they can read the value of the tag without any problems, the value looks like this: {mModulename | Routinename | Rownumber}. Is it because the value is divided in to three different data that KepserverEx is complaining? I might add the there isn´t any issues with other tags, just this Programpointer tag. Thanks Regards

When you create a new channel/new device and configure it for Modbus TCP/IP, Is this a Modbus Client?? How do you create a Modbus Server? 

What steps are required for PTC partners to have access to Kepware+ for customer presentations / demos?

I am trying to connect to a remote OPCDA Server using Kepserverex. But when i try to import tags i can browse the tags but there will be an error coming."Failed to establish callback for device. Even if after that i import the tags the tag quality will be bad and tag value will not update. In the same system i am accesing the remote opcda server using other opcda client but it is working. Can anybody Help? 

Have a Micrologix 1400 on Ethernet controlling a Filter Bank. The PLC5/60 is on a DH+ network and connected to a DCS via Kepware v5.8.109. Looking to add control from the PLC5/60 to add controls to the Micrologix 1400. Is this possible?

We're trying to get our Kepware installation up-to-date on licensing...which it would seem like it is, but we still get the constant nag about "one or more features are time-limited."What am I missing?  Is there another license that we're still missing?Please see attached image.  Thanks! 

I'm using the trial version of Kepware on a local machine and I'm completely unable to connect to the OPC UA server from FactoryTalk View SE. I was able to connect to the GE PLCs I need to through the quick client, but haven't been able to communicate with anything in FactoryTalk at all. (FactoryTalk is also being hosted on the same computer) I've followed this tutorial from Rockwell directly to no avail:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUfF1X7muS4I've set Windows Inbound rule for port 49320.I tried changing the port to 4880 as the FactoryTalk manual shows that as the default port when one is not specified. From FactoryTalk Manual:Enter a custom network path or IP address to an OPC UA Server. We currently are testing a remote OPC DA connection that brings in two tags into Kepware. From there, we add those tags into the IDF for Splunk. We are able to send information to Splunk from these OPC DA tags, but it only updates on changes when I ask to send the information to Splunk on every scan. Pictures below: I'm only receiving 12 events but there should be thousands of events if information is being set every scan.  We already have multiple Splunk connections set up that send information to Splunk on every scan. The devices on these connections are Omron FINS Ethernet devices, though. Here are the events for the omron devices:  This looks much better as we have ~30k events and I can see the differences in time stamps. I'm not sure if I'm setting up the OPC DA connection improperly which is causing this issue? I've tried to change the OPC DA from exception to polling and a couple other settings on Channel3 but that did not work either. Any ideas or

Please, is there any additional configuration or particularity besides CS384334 to establish OPC UA communication between KepServer6EX and FTView SE? When I use the KepServer EnterpriseV5.21 version the communication works, but with KepServer6EX it doesn't work. Thank you.
