Can anyone convert these files for me to mathcad priem 6.0? I'm having a hard time finding a conversion application to see these old mcd files. Thank you.

I have migrated to a new computer and am trying to install the trial version for MathCAD, however I don't get a link to download the installation file.

Hi guys, I'm trying to do a simple calculation of the middle third rule. What I want to achieve is shown in the spreadsheet but the issue is that if the condition ex/L+ey/B<1/6 is met only then I want the program to calculate the pressure otherwise just get a message like "N/A". Can the result be either a scalar or a text? I tried to put be a scalar with "N/A" for each of its elements but got an error message again, it seems that it accepts only numerical values Any help will be much appreciated! cheers,Eleni

I have a trial version which expires in 15 days. i would like to upgrade to a student version as I found that Mathcad is extremely helpful for my assignments.

I have an MatchCAD Prime issues. Plotting the equation in MatchCAD Prime 7.0 is not working. There is notification like this "Plotting failed. Replace complex values and NaN by real numbers".

I had mathcad 5.0 working perfectly on my computer. I tried to install mathcad 6.0 and it got stuck at 1% and said there was a conflicting installation. I uninstalled 5.0 and I still got stuck at 1% when trying to install 6.0. Now when I try to re-install 5.0, it also gets stuck at 1%. I deleted the program files\PTC folder and checked appdata for other PTC folders. I'm not sure what's blocking the installation. It also says that .net framework and the other program it needs to install are already installed. The error it gives is something like 'please check logs'. The logs say Error 1622 after trying to do something with the PTC file.

I want adquire a PTC Mathcad License. I teach numerical methods at university level ¿ how do i obtain that?

I'm trying to parse a test function https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Himmelblau%27s_function using symbolic math. It has one local maximum, four global minimums and four saddle points.Why does Prime's symbolic math only output the minimums? Mattcad 15 symbolic engine produces the traditional answer - absolutely accurate and absolutely indigestible.Thanks for any response and comments. Attached files.

Hi,Mathcad Prime: Plotting Area. There is a gap below the plot where the axis expressions are which I have them hidden. Is it any chance to eliminate the gap? thanks,Eleni

On Jan. 21, 2022, Werner_E provided the solution for creating color-coded mesh surface plots using Mathcad Prime 6.0 for two functions [f1(x) and f2(x)] I had defined [Solved: Re: Generating a hemispherical dome surface plot u... - PTC Community]. Assuming that these instructions could be utilized to create similar plots with any other monotonic function, I defined and inserted two new functions [f3(x) and f4(x)- -see below] in the equation S = CreateSlices(f1, 0, a, 5): f3 = e–cx/a        f4 = 1 – x/a, both over 0 ≤ x ≤ a, with a = 300, c = 4.61 Evidently my simplistic assumption was incorrect- -the Insert 3D Plot command failed to generate the anticipated five-color slice hemispherical domes whose height ranges between 0 and 1.0. Where did I go wrong?

Hi,I have an image in a Mathcad Prime 7.0 worksheet and I am trying to copy and paste it to another Prime 7.0 Worksheet. When I attempt to copy and paste from one worksheet to another, it says "Browse for Image". Even when trying to copy an image and paste it into the same worksheet it says "Browse for Image". If I create a text box region first, I am able to paste the image into it, but the behavior of the image is now limited by the text box (cropping and scaling issues). Am I missing something here?

How to take out some part of the number defined through evaluation definition and use it further for calculation.For e.g. I have set of 3 number clubbed and 24 such sets separated by comma and space and would like to use 7 set for calculation purpose later in worksheet. Is there any possible solution for this

I am trying to make a plot of the dependent variable digital data (zeros and ones) in a column of a matrix vs another column (independent variable - x axis) that has units of degrees.  If I add volts units to the dependent variable it plots fine but as soon as I eliminate the units then the error "The values in the axes placeholders must be real numbers or expressions. Make sure the values are of the same type in both placeholders" is returned.The plot with the errors has the Y variable as a column of the matrix that is unitless.  The one that works has been fudged by adding units to that column. 

I am a novice Mathcad Prime 6.0 user and want to purchase a suitable hardcopy [print] user’s manual to expedite my learning curve with this software. The closest match my online search has produced thus far is a 2013 Academic Press publication titled Essential PTC® Mathcad Prime® 3.0: A Guide for New and Current Users, by Brent Maxfield. It appears that no such version exists for Prime 6.0. Are there enough similarities between the Prime 3.0 and 6.0 codes to justify buying the aforementioned book? 

How to determine the directory to which the program is written so that I can read from that directory explicitly
