We referring the below link and attached TWC_Agent_C _SDK to read values from temperature sensor (Sensor used is DHT11 – Port used GIOP17) which is on raspberry pi Model B+. http://www.thingworx.com/developer/device-kits/raspberry-pi After following the above link and after configuring as it is mentioned there, we are not getting temperature value to Thingworx thing. Kindly let me know if we are missing the somewhere like config settings. If I am making a custom widget, how do I add a custom Category (so when you click the Category dropdown, I could have my own category)?  It's straight forward in the widget IDE code, but how do I physically create the category in the ThingWorx IDE?

Hi, We are using the windchill project plan to track the activities. We defined activities in the plan and added custom tabs such as the ActionItems and Notebook to track information. But these two tabs showing with grey background instead of blue for the original two tabs (Details and Related Objects). It also turned out that other team members do not see these two custom tabs at all. This makes it hard for us to track the action items and other information. The 2014 FRC KOP comes with many of the same standard components we've seen for a few years now, with the exception of the CIM motor coolers and the new AndyMark 14U chassis. PTC gives you all these items as Creo CAD files in the standard KOP downloads on www.ptc.com/go/firstkop. If you are looking for other items such as hardware, fasteners, constrution materials, etc. here are some good locations to check out. Hi again,We are trying to make some REV extrusion that we downloaded a STEP file for shorter.  We were able to use the "Make Flexible" option in the menu for another part that we tried (a Tetrix axle) and it let us change the length, but it does not work for REV extrusion. I have creo 3.0 license.. But not able to start Reverse Engineering work.

I'm very new to Axeda Custom Object development.  I have a couple of questions regarding how to find all the available assets in a system.   On our system, there are over 2000 assets.   In our custom object, we are trying to get the total number of assets. Here's part of the code:   : DeviceFinder deviceFinder = new DeviceFinder(CONTEXT) deviceFinder.setModel(model) deviceList = deviceFinder.findAll() :   However, deviceFinder.findAll() only returns 1000 assets, even though there are over 2000 on our system! It appears that deviceFinder.findAll() returns a maximum of 1000 only. Can we changed that limit?   Or better yet, what other calls can we make so that we could get the right asset count (without any limitations)?   Thanks!

Hi:I am having difficulty configuring for the PTC Creo for schools.  When I run the .bat file I get the error that the file is not copied when I extract the zip file to ....\PTC\PTC Creo 3.0\[]\Parametric\common Files\Creo_standardsIf I extract to \PTC\PTC Creo 3.0\[]\common Files\Creo_standards, I get the error of "Access denied"I believe I have set the proper permissions.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

In the latest Robotalk session, a question was asked about making animations with creo.  I volunteered to upload my animation to the community.The animation I created is great for scouting, as it helps other teams visualize how your robot works, and will help them decide whether or not your team is a good pick.  I made the animation by creating several Mechanism Analyses and then splicing them together using a video editor like iMovie.  The animation is of a Block Party robot, with the Indiana Jones theme song playing.  From what I heard, Mechanism Analyses will be explained in upcoming Robotalk sessions.
