I recently purchased and installed the student edition of creo 1.0 the program starts fine, but when i start working in the graphics window (i.e. sketching), the program slows down to a crawl. If i try to perform a function The top of the screen shows the (Not Responding) tab, but after several seconds the program seems to "catch up" and perform the function. I am wondering if I am missing some sort of a driver that would speed up the program, and was hoping someone could help. Thanks, Jesse

I recently purchased a student version of Mathcad Prime 2.0. An IP address is required to obtain the license file. I gave the IP address on the sticker on the back of my laptop (00-FF-1E-10-1C-44), but the license didn't work. I am unable to request another license online since it says I have used the maximum number already. - told me to log a call online or call. I have an order number (#15661064945) but no customer number, so I couldn't request help online. When I called, the woman couldn't find my order number and told me to contact -. Maybe I heard her wrong, but this email doesn't exist. I also emailed - and received no answer. The PTC utility gives me the IP address PTC HOSTID=00-26-82-AD-1E-2D, so a license for this IP would be nice. This seems to actually be the IP-address for the wifi connection and not the actual computer when I look into my computers settings. Can anyone help me?

PRO-E STUDENT EDITION / UNIVERSITY EDITION WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD

I am a Undergraduate in mechanical and automation engineering.Yesterday i was practising "Advanced Modeling Tools"from my Pro/E book and came on the SPIRAL BEND option...acoording to the book the option can be evoked as-> Insert>Advanced>Spiral BendBut the option is no more available there with that name!Is it hidden somewhere else or it's just not available in "Creo Elements Pro Schools Edition"?

I teach using PTCU in my class. Right now if I want to link to a specific topic and share it with my class, I need to email the link to myself, and then take the web address from there. There should be an easy way to grap the web address without needing the email.

I was working on a model for the whole night and there was a ower failure at my place and my laptop also had shutdoown unexpectedly. Now when I want to retrieve the files I couldnt. During startup of creo parametric, it asked if I wanted to retrieve and when I clicked to retrieve no files were opened. Please help me as those files took me along time to model.Thank you.

We have begin teaching our FIRST Hands-on-Workshops and we are planning for our Fall ROBO-Talk webinars.The first leg of the Webinar series will feature Mathcad Prime 2.0. We plan to focus on how Mathcad Prime can be used to create dynamic, reusable worksheets for your FIRST team's engineering notebook. I am happy to announce today that LearningExchange is now available in 4 languages!Almost a year after we went live with this tutorial platform, we have taken this big step and started to localize the tutorials. The company I’m at just up dated to Creo and I maintain ModelCHECK. For the most part all of our checks are automated but there are a few manual checks. Accept I can’t seem to find where to go to select the manual checks in Creo. In Wildfire I was able to go to Configure ModelCHECK> Conditional Settings > Setconf and select the manual script I wanted to use. But now all it allows me to do is edit it.

Things are heating up here in the Central Valley, and not just the temperatures (108 today ).FIRST Team 3970, the Duncan Dynamics, has recovered from an amazing rookie season and is meeting weekly.  Their getting new members up-to-speed, practicing for upcoming presentations and of course, training on PTC tools.  We'll be looking into Windchill for project planning and also using the 2012 season robot design for training new members on Creo 2.FIRST Team 1671 is on fire as usual!  In addition to team meetings every Thursday that bring in up to 50 students, the design team is meeting every Wednesday at a student's home for training.  We're up and running on Creo 2 and just about have all the new members up and running on Windchill 10.1.  The summer's project will be designing a new "swerve drive" from the ground up.  This will give the team a chance to do a new product development project without the normal stress of the actual build season.  A couple o

The installer gets to the point of "Copy Files" and hangs at 2%. Tried to install on my note book and of course I got the message that I had no furthur license files available. Any ideas?Thanks

I recently had to replace my motherboard and need to move my CreoE/Pro 5.0 Student Edition license. Checking the forums, I’ve read messages about using that address to request a new license file. However, most of them are fairly old postings. I’ve also read some messages where different individual addresses were provided.I sent the email Tuesday, and with the holiday, (in the US), I’m not expecting an immediate answer, but also don’t want to be sitting around waiting for something that is never going to happen.This time I plan on using a USB network adapter, so I won’t need to repeat this process if I have any more computer problems.

I started using creo para 1.0 and floefd on a different computer and noticed when I was reorienting my model that the front, bottom, back, top, left or right views were not there. How do I add these views in?
