Hey there,In the Thingworx scripts, how can you add a row to an infotable that is already existing? Is see there is an AddRow option and I try to add that to my me.thisInfo object, but it requires a "row" object as an argument and I do not know how to set that opject up. I tried a few ways and it accepted it but with no addition to the Infotable.Within the infotable the data shape just has the field definition of "Names" Just to keep it simple for now. Thanks for any help!
I recently downloaded and installed the student version of PTC Creo 4.0, but then my computer crashed, and I had to reinstall everything. I did delete the old licensing file. Now when I try to install the licensing, I get a "failed" message. I'm using the new product licensing code from the pdf supplied to me when I downloaded the 4.0 installation file.
I have deleted all my licenses, open the setup.exe, added the University students Product code BK41070..., close, run CREO and get this error every time.
When I try to connect Raspberry Pi and ThingWorx,I have a trouble. So,please let me know what to do.On the manual,"2.-How-to-read-Temperature-and-Humidity-from-Am2302-sensor-using-Thingworx-Edge-java-SKD-for-RPI",if I enter "mvn package" on my PI,it will create the release jar file. But,I can't failed to execute goal on project temperature-thing.Are there some things that I should do other than appearing in the manual? For example, change the set point of /.m2/settings.xml,/temperature-thing/pom.xml and so on.I hope you will be able to provide the information.
I downloaded this version of Creo to do homework from my class and it's really slow. I can't even select edges to dimension. I installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled it thinking it would help but it didn't. Anyone know anything I can do to help it run faster?
Hi, I installed program normal, tried to run it and it was problem with licence. I red some of the conversations here and I uploaded the licence again. The message shows that this licence doesn't support this version. Please help!
How am I able to fix this problem?
In my assembly drawing the section view wasn't working. It was working prior to inserting some additional parts in the assembly. I found the part that was causing the issue. When the part wasn't in the assembly the section view came back. What can I do to find out why this part is causing section view failure.

Will Creo 4.0 license also work for version 3.0? I need to know if I can run both versions with the 4.0 license.
I am trying to download creo 3.0 on my computer. After downloading it, it came out to be a zip file. Hello, I have been using Wildfire 4 student edition for a while and all of a sudden it opens but then closes. Its strange because nothing has changed on my PC, my host id is still the same also. I tried a reinstall and requested a non internet needed license from PTC but the new non internet license does the same thing. I know prior to Wildfire 5 that student edition licenses did not expire after one year so it cant be an expired license.Thank you,Neil Smith
I have been running CREO 3.0 without any problems until my school decided to upgrade to CREO 4.0. Each time I do my work at school, I had a hard time trying to do the homework assignment on my own computer. So, I decided to install CREO 4.0 student version. I followed the instruction, but each time I attempt to run it the below warning message comes up. On C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing the BE41078EDSTUDENTEDK12_license.dat is in the folder but it still not allowed to start the program. Can anyone help??? Thank you.
Hello,I downloaded Creo 3 student version and am trying to install it. Following the instructions everything goes well, license looks like it installs and I get the "Success" message. Click next and Install. Several of the items look to install, but several are stuck with status "Pending Prerequisite". Can't click back or any of the other buttons. Firewalls are disabled. I did search the forums and found this post:Re: Can't download Creo 3.0: 'Pending Prerequisite', checked my task manager and found no msi.exe. Did not find any other hits.Any help would be greatly appreciated.ThanksGreg
Hello everyone, our department at the University recently got access to Thingworx Academic. Unfortunately I cannot see or access the import/export buttons or any method to import extensions to the system on the foundation server.Where can I find this feature? We need to use the MQTT extension which was no problem with the previous Thingworx Academic Version nor the 30 day trial.I am using this url:ThingWorx Academic EditionThanks
Hi all,I'm working on thingworx developer videos by ptc.But I'm unable to connect with thingworx academic simulator.Could you please guide me with proper details to resume my progress with thingworx. Thanks,Ahmed
OverviewThingWorx can use JDBC drivers to connect to any JDBC compatible database (such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.). It can also be done using the ThingWorx Edge Microserver and the ThingWorx Host/Resource using OLEDB and ODBC if the Database happens to be behind a firewall. If a JDBC Extension does not exist in ThingWorx for your Database, you can manually add the JDBC driver, by downloading the driver(s) and adding the files to the following location: /Tomcat folder/webapps/Thingworx/WEB-INF/libAfter copying the driver(s), over you must restart ThingWorx (or Tomcat if that is easier). If you do not want to manually load the JDBC driver to Tomcat and have to restart Tomcat, you can build a Database Extension that includes the JDBC driver & Qlikview Application, and import that extension. The advantage of this approach is that you do not have to manually load the driver, the class load is handled for you, and it is upgrade safe, so you do not have to redeploy the driver when
We suddenly cannot access content on the Windchill server for FIRST robotics. We can navigate to the content, but when we try to add parts to the workspace, we get an error message that says we do not have sufficient priviledges and to contact an administrator. I hope this is an easily and quickly resolved issue: we're midway through build season and cannot afford to lose even one day of our schedule. Thanks, Noa
We'd like to attach video data with one of our thing templates. Is this doable?
i can't download creo 4.0 because the registration system keep rejecting my US phone number. Anyone ever had that problem before ?
I bought a license for this version of Creo 4.0 since my study program does not cover Creo. I want to install the license file associated with this version NOT the free university version since I need simulator as well. I tried contacting customer service and they were Zero help mostly due to the language barrier. When I do a fresh installation, it does not find my order number or the product code I have. Please help me find a PDF to install properly or solving my issue would be great!
I have the educational edition of Creo 4.0 and it keeps giving me an error when I try to use simulate. it keeps saying unable to get required Creo Simulate license
We are just about to start a new CAD course and we have some new faster cpu/gpus which will enable working with more complicated models (We are teaching ~90/session so hardware costs have been an issue). As a first task I was hoping to give the students a bit of time to get used to the Creo system and in particular the oreintation and view commands. We obviously have some models that we could give them, but wondered if any of the nice models often wheeled out at PTC presentations/launches are available for use by students. e.g. the full sports car model. Having a reasonably complicated model of a commercial system would hopefully engage the students more. We already have a model of a large engine and a animated engine we have developed for the course. The hype of a nice model with the students ability for move/fly around it, section and generate orthographic and rendered views early in the corse would be probably enthuse them over the block
