I tried downloading my new Creo 4.0 student version but this error message keeps popping up : C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing\BE400407EDSTUDENTEDK12_license.dat:(-21) License file does not support this version    but the license im using is from what i got when i downloaded it and i checked if any old licenses were interfering but I deleted them all 

  In Creo 3.0 I made many drawings with 0 problems. Now in Creo 4.0 when I try to create a drawing (New>Drawing>Use Template) it gives me an error (image included) saying that the template was created with a commercial version of Creo and is not compatible. Hello, Oisin here i am having trouble after recently downloading the student addition to ptc CREO 3.0.  When I click the model setting on the toolbar I can't click on any of the option displayed such as round, chamfer, extrude and fillet, eg or are any option displayed on that ribbon. This is very frustrating because i cant us the full range of the software and cant draw some thing on the software without those options. I asked the tech team at my college and they told me it could be the graphics card (intel(R) UHD Graphics 620) on my laptop. I have a inspiron 15 5000 series. would appreciate any advice. Thank You 

Hello Friends,I have many sensors registered on the thingworx platform. I have a dashboard which is displaying sensors data. In the back end, I am continuously pulling data from thingworx. What I want is how can I subscribe my db from thingworx, and thingworx should trigger my db on data change. How can I achieve this ?

Hi!  I have tried everything for the installation, I have read all the possible problems and solutions there are. My problem is that the license file (.dat) is not recognized by the assistant. I select it and also put the installation code at the same time but it says: format not recognized and I can not click next. Thank you for your help.

Hi, I recently broke my old laptop that had my Creo Parametric 4.0 (student version that was gotten for free), because of that I got a new laptop and downloaded Creo on my new laptop. For some reason, whenever I tried to start the software, I kept getting the error message that is attached below. Please help me out. I really need this program to finish my homework. Thank you.    

After installing Creo 4 on my computer I cannot open the programs. It loads for 1 second after I click on fx Creo Parametric. How do I solve the problem?

Hi all,   im having trouble with the CREO exported STL files as they are not in plain text. I coded a software that converts the STL file to a IGS cloud point but as the CREO files are some what encrypted I cannot do this.   Is there a way to convert the files or export them in plain text?   Thank you all

Hey there,In the Thingworx scripts, how can you add a row to an infotable that is already existing? Is see there is an AddRow option and I try to add that to my me.thisInfo object, but it requires a "row" object as an argument and I do not know how to set that opject up. I tried a few ways and it accepted it but with no addition to the Infotable.Within the infotable the data shape just has the field definition of "Names" Just to keep it simple for now.Thanks for any help!

I recently downloaded and installed the student version of PTC Creo 4.0, but then my computer crashed, and I had to reinstall everything.  I did delete the old licensing file.  Now when I try to install the licensing, I get a "failed" message.  I'm using the new product licensing code from the pdf supplied to me when I downloaded the 4.0 installation file.     

I have deleted all my licenses, open the setup.exe, added the University students Product code BK41070..., close, run CREO and get this error every time.      

When I try to connect Raspberry Pi and ThingWorx,I have a trouble.So,please let me know what to do.On the manual,"2.-How-to-read-Temperature-and-Humidity-from-Am2302-sensor-using-Thingworx-Edge-java-SKD-for-RPI",if I enter "mvn package" on my PI,it will create the release jar file.But,I can't failed to execute goal on project temperature-thing.Are there some things that I should do other than appearing in the manual?For example,change the set point of /.m2/settings.xml,/temperature-thing/pom.xml and so on.I hope you will be able to provide the information.

I downloaded this version of Creo to do homework from my class and it's really slow. I can't even select edges to dimension. I installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled it thinking it would help but it didn't. Anyone know anything I can do to help it run faster?

Hi,   I installed program normal, tried to run it and it was problem with licence. I red some of the conversations here and I uploaded the licence again. The message shows that this licence doesn't support this version. Please help!    

How am I able to fix this problem?

In my assembly drawing the section view wasn't working. It was working prior to inserting some additional parts in the assembly. I found the part that was causing the issue. When the part wasn't in the assembly the section view came back. What can I do to find out why this part is causing section view failure.

Hi!I've got problem with my Student version of Creo 2.0. I've done everything, what is important to install this program but when I try open the setup.exe it doesn't work!

I can not open my recently downloaded CREO 3.0.  It keeps saying License error, but I put the license number in.

I am trying to install creo 2.0 student edition on my computer, which is a mac, and I am using parallels with windows xp. My parallels/windows has not internet connection. So I am not able to install it, because it still doesn't exist a licence file.   Is there any way to do it?   Thank you

Will Creo 4.0 license also work for version 3.0? I need to know if I can run both versions with the 4.0 license. 

I am trying to download creo 3.0 on my computer. After downloading it, it came out to be a zip file. I clicked setup.exe as told by my school ut all it keeps doing is displaying "Do you want this to change your device" and the ptc installation assistant dialogue bok is not showing up. I don't what the problem is. Could someone help me thankyou!

Hello,    I have been using Wildfire 4 student edition for a while and all of a sudden it opens but then closes. Its strange because nothing has changed on my PC, my host id is still the same also. I tried a reinstall and requested a non internet needed license from PTC but the new non internet license does the same thing. I know prior to Wildfire 5 that student edition licenses did not expire after one year so it cant be an expired license.Thank you,Neil Smith

I have been running CREO 3.0 without any problems until my school decided to upgrade to CREO 4.0. Each time I do my work at school, I had a hard time trying to do the homework assignment on my own computer. So, I decided to install CREO 4.0 student version. I followed the instruction, but each time I attempt to run it the below warning message comes up. On C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing the BE41078EDSTUDENTEDK12_license.dat is in the folder but it still not allowed to start the program. Can anyone help??? Thank you.

Hello,I downloaded Creo 3 student version and am trying to install it.  Following the instructions everything goes well, license looks like it installs and I get the "Success" message.  Click next and Install.  Several of the items look to install, but several are stuck with status "Pending Prerequisite".  Can't click back or any of the other buttons.  Firewalls are disabled.  I did search the forums and found this post:Re: Can't download Creo 3.0: 'Pending Prerequisite', checked my task manager and found no msi.exe.  Did not find any other hits.Any help would be greatly appreciated.ThanksGreg

Hello everyone,our department at the University recently got access to Thingworx Academic. Unfortunately I cannot see or access the import/export buttons or any method to import extensions to the system on the foundation server.Where can I find this feature? We need to use the MQTT extension which was no problem with the previous Thingworx Academic Version nor the 30 day trial.I am using this url:ThingWorx Academic EditionThanks
