PTC Education

MathCad 15 was installed and running normal yesterday. Today when I launched the program I received a license error -- "The hostid of this system does not match the hostid specified in the license file".  Reloading the license file did not solve the problem.  What is the problem?  This is on a system running windows 7.  How can I fix the problem?

Hello,I use the PTC Creo education version 3.0 and until yesterday it was working just fine. I did some, let's say, not clever downloads and now my laptop has some issues with internet and google chrome denial to download and stuff like these but also creo opens and with no message shown on my screen, after 2 min exactly it closes. I don't know if it has to do with the issues of my laptop or if it has something to do with creo itself.Any similar situation and way of dealing with it is more than welcomed as creo is my basic working tool and I totally need it!Thank u in advance!

How do we download the FTC Tetrix Parts for CREO?

Hi all! I am a 1st year Engineering student. I am trying to install PTC Creo 3.0-Student Edition using a disc on my laptop. It seems to have installed and all of the icons are on my desktop. However when I try to open them a message coes up as follows: License request failed for feature   Invalid Feature. If anyone can offer me assistance I would be extremely grateful. Regards, Colm

Hello,An error message appears in the third step when I install the license. I have the product number (BK400407EDSTUDENTUNICL).The error messsage is "Error processing the license. Please contact the PTC Licensing Department".Thank you for your help

When I enter product code (BK400407EDSTUDENTUNICL) in the installation it gives me an error message. Hovering over the message says "error in license processing please contact ptc license management". And yes I have tried entering the product code manually rather than copying/pasting and it stills gives the error message. And under license summary there are no sources listed. I need this program ASAP, please help!

I have been trying to istall CReo 3.0, but I haven't been able to do it. The instalation always get's stuck where in the Aplication Selection part. There is a meesage that sasy please wait while we retrieve your license and it gever goes beyond that. Thank you for your help

Hello I am trying to build a robot for FTC and need some CAD files. In specific Actobotics files, but i need them in the .prt or creo file format. I did find some but they are in .STEP format. They do work, but not very well. This makes constraing and assembling hard. Any files or sites would help. Thanks

I am new to PTC.  We just bought a hobby cnc router.  What options (educational free) are there for making a part and then milling it?

I have recently gotten a new laptop which is 64-bit, as opposed to the 32-bit computer I had before. When I tried to move the Mathcad 14 student edition that I already have by installing it from the CD, it didn't work. Now I'm worried that it isn't going to work because of the 64-bit operating system.I just went through the service interface to request a new license, although I'm not sure that's the issue. Apparently there is no way I can call "customer service" to ask about this, which is very annoying.

Hello,i´m attending the University of applied sciences in Augsburg. I need the Student Version of Creo 3.0  immediately. I downloaded the Windowas 64bit file and started the setup. I typed in the Code and all is well but when i´m asked for my account data and i type in my Name and Password it isnt´t working at all.I always get that email:Dear User, Thank you for your interest in the PTC Creo 2.0 Student Edition. Attached is a backup copy of the license file that was downloaded during the initial installation of Creo 2.0. The installation can only have completed if the file was successfully downloaded and this file is intended only as a backup. If desired this file can be saved in your email or to a folder on the C: drive such as C:\ptc on the machine that you have installed Creo 2.0 to be used if the original file is lost or deleted.
