Hi, I tried signing up for the free download and got to the "PTC Creo 3.0 – University Student Standard – Quick Installation Guide" pdf but all the download links are broken and give me 404 error not found, any tips?
I run Win 7 64-bit and was trying to install the academic version of Creo 3.0 Parametric without success. The problem was with the license and after some googling I came to the conclusion that I should uninstall and remove everything and redo it. Now that I'm trying to uninstall Parametric 3.0 M070 the uninstaller crash. This is what I get when I select Uninstall in the Programs and Features menu in Windows:After pressing Uninstall, I get:And in my process list I now have:No matter if I keep the process running or end it, when I try to uninstall Creo again I get:The same thing happens when running Windows in Safe Mode. What did Creo to do my computer?!
Hello, I've done many stand alone license installs and have never seen this error before... Creo Academic Edition Standalone Licensing You have already registered for this the maximum number of times. I've completely removed/uninstalled the old Creo 2.0 but can't get past this error from the licensing file generation page at: http://www.ptc.com/appserver/lm/programs/licensing_programs_v.jsp I've tried a couple of times to get my expired Creo back up but no luck. ?? Thanks, Jim

I am a mentor for an FRC team. In the past, I have had students get access to Precision LMS for training, as it's really a rather good resource. Now I can't figure out who to ask or where to request access. They have all created student accounts, but do not have access. Thanks for the help, Ken

MathCad 15 was installed and running normal yesterday. Today when I launched the program I received a license error -- "The hostid of this system does not match the hostid specified in the license file". Reloading the license file did not solve the problem. What is the problem? This is on a system running windows 7. How can I fix the problem?
Hello,I use the PTC Creo education version 3.0 and until yesterday it was working just fine. I did some, let's say, not clever downloads and now my laptop has some issues with internet and google chrome denial to download and stuff like these but also creo opens and with no message shown on my screen, after 2 min exactly it closes. I don't know if it has to do with the issues of my laptop or if it has something to do with creo itself.Any similar situation and way of dealing with it is more than welcomed as creo is my basic working tool and I totally need it!Thank u in advance!

Hello,An error message appears in the third step when I install the license. I have the product number (BK400407EDSTUDENTUNICL).The error messsage is "Error processing the license. Please contact the PTC Licensing Department".Thank you for your help
The system envelope model includes the subsystems our robot requires, as well as, the size and position of each subsystem. The next step in the product development process is selecting the technology solutions that will allow the subsystems to perform their functions. Use brainstorming and research to begin developing ideas about how a robot could carry out each of the required functions.
A good design optimizes function or performance within a set of constraining factors. In the case of a robotics competition, the game description or challenge description will explain how your robot will score points or otherwise be evaluated.
As you go through the steps of the product development process, you will create organizational charts, data tables, 3D models, physical prototypes, test results, and instructional guides. This guide refers to these outputs as deliverables.
A top-down design strategy organizes the various challenges involved in building a successful robot into levels that each contain a specific set of parts and important geometric or performance information.
This document defines the four phases of the product development process.
When I enter product code (BK400407EDSTUDENTUNICL) in the installation it gives me an error message. Hovering over the message says "error in license processing please contact ptc license management". And yes I have tried entering the product code manually rather than copying/pasting and it stills gives the error message. And under license summary there are no sources listed. I need this program ASAP, please help!

Hello I am trying to build a robot for FTC and need some CAD files. In specific Actobotics files, but i need them in the .prt or creo file format. I did find some but they are in .STEP format. They do work, but not very well. This makes constraing and assembling hard. Any files or sites would help. Thanks
I am new to PTC. We just bought a hobby cnc router. What options (educational free) are there for making a part and then milling it?
