We created a simple model to try to learn how to simulate movement in PTC Creo, but after I see it successfully simulate, it forces me to delete all the servo motors and the the motor analysis (after I regenerate the model as well). Would you be able to describe how I should reset the model and how to save a playback to save the animation. Thank you!

I'm trying to remake the template for my team, since we changed our team name and logo. Does anyone know how to get Quantity of a part or assembly in the drawing frame table? &qty doesn't seems work.

Hi when configuring standard and units of measure, I get an error message saying the file(s) cannot be found. This is directly after installing the Academic Edition of Creo 2.0 and running the configure.bat as an admin. I also went back and installed the MKS option after thinking the files may be contained in there. Cheers George

Hello PTC Community,My name is Andrea, I have already installed Creo 2.0, but now that I have Windows7 I could afford the newer 3.0 version. I couldn't find a link to download the file again so I had to register once more. Followed the instructions and everything seemed to work except for when I got to insert the code received in the pdf. After the elaboration it just says "Error" in red without any specific information, so it couldn't recognize my License. What am I doing wrong?Thank you all in advanceAndrea

Hello,I'm using Creo 3.0 M060 Academic Edition.I'm following a tutorial from my Precision PLM account, but I found a problem in some of the steps. The simulator acts on the things VM-TR1 and VM-TR2, which both have a property called VMTemperatureSetpoint and VMHumiditySetpoint. The simulator emulates the actions of two vending machines, sending temperature and humidity data to ThingWorx and reading the temperature and humidity set point figures from ThingWorx.My question is, why cant I set the VMTemperatureSetpoint property of the VM-TR1 thing? I located the property, clicked on set, then refreshed. it is still at zero. The property is persistent, so I tough it will allow me to change it manually so it will never change again automaticall. I don't get any feedback from thingworx on why I can't set this property. Any ideas?thanks

Hi,   i lost my registration Email, i think it was deleted, and now i have the problem that i can not figure out my old studentlicense, which i have used last year. Now, to extend the version for another year, i need this license code.   Is there a possibility to get this email again?   best regards

Hi,you have done a nice job making the tutorial for thingworx: https://precisionlms.ptc.com/viewer/guide/en/23464865/page/23593390#23593391I found some minor mistakes, but there is no way how I can report them directly on the tool. Maybe you should use the power of academia, and let so many users review the documentation by easily giving them the option to mark errors found. I made the mistake of not saving the errors I encouter, so I cant report them here. thanks.

Hi, when I try to install my Creo Student Version, it says my activation code is invalid.  I inputted it exactly using copy and paste instead of manually.

Problem Outline:This problem is characterized by an error message that appears right after PTC Creo 2.0 launches. The error appears in a Creo window named "Warning: Message List" and typically has a large amount of text below the "License request failed for feature" which appears at the top. A screenshot of the message is shown below.Solution:This error appears when Creo is unable to effectively validate your license file. Often this happens when a license file expires, becomes corrorupt, is generated incorrectly or is deleted. Alternatively since your Creo license is tied to the Host ID of the first priority network card on your computer your computer may be using the wrong Host ID. On starting PTC Creo Parametric 3 we get an error message: Xtop.exe - System Error.  The program can't start because luapputilsmt.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.We have reinstalled the program but the problem persists.
