Hi i have sign up as a student in the website but i don't seem to find a place to download the file . Can I pls know where to download the file ?

I just downloaded the software yesterday and am trying to figure out how to assemble parts. Is this feature available in the education version?

Hi.I have a heavy problem with Creo3.When i create a assembly group, place the first part, it's all ok, but when i add a 2nd, open the place dialog, turn or zoom the whole thing, it crashes my video driver and Creo hangs up.The same, when i use the mini window with the 2nd part..It's possible to open an already created assembly with more than 2 parts, turn it arround, zoom or whatever, no problems, till i want to add a new part, then -> Creo hangs up.It reloads my video card driver, but in the Creo Window "place" is shows up "no Responding".All works fine till now, exept this part.So, what can i do?Rgds.System: Win7 x64Video Card: Radeon HD4290

Thanks to sm for trying to answer my earlier question about Technix and FIRST elements CAD libraries, but the links were to last years libraries (2015) and i'm looking for this current years libraries (2016 Res-Q).  Thanks for any help on this...

Just in case anyone else was interested, I was able to package the AndyMark 8" wheels (am-0420) into the AM14U3 chassis with only some minor modifications. Still need to figure out if there is a drive belt that will fit correctly, but ground clearances still need to be validated in this configuration. Same goes for the AndyMark pneumatic 8" wheels (am-0970), but this required much more modification. The inner rails are both moved in by an inch to make room for the wide wheel and these wheels will require some additional spacers for the belt pulleys, different wheel spacers to align them all, longer output shaft for the gearbox, longer axle bolts, longer short churros, shorter inner churros, and a custom plate to replace (am-2954). What other ideas have people come up with so far?

Help!I entered all of my information to download Creo 3 student software, and when I try to download the PDF instructions on how to get the software I get a "404 Error - Not Found" page. Can someone please attach the PDF instructions or tell me how I can obtain the student software? I need it by the end of the week!Thanks!

Hello, I am student in the academic program.During the first webinar session after the instance setup my professor imported a demo project "vendingMachine".Unfortunately, I do not have edit rights for all the samples and I cannot have a look at the demo mashups. Additionally it would be great if I could install extensions, like the MQTT one for a student project.Can the professor assign me admin rights or needs it to be done by an ThingWorx/PTC representative?The instance is: hdmstuttgart.cloud.thingworx.comThank you very much,Markus

helloAfter  installation of Creo 2.0 Student Edition, the application failed to open and I got the following error message: shutting down because.... could not the run Quality Agent which is required in this edition,,, error 0x00000013

I get error code 0x00000013 when attempting to run Creo 2 with a student edition license.  I tried the quality agent fix suggested in this site and it did not fix the problem.  Any help would be appreciated.  Colleen

Wanted to take a minute and share a Creo example with everyone.  In this case, my FTC team chose to design its intake system in Creo.   Stepping back a moment, this is a team of 8th grade and Freshman that have not previously had any CAD experience.  Their exposure to CAD has been the gracious offer of the PTC suite to FIRST FTC teams.  They have taken the online Creo courses which are helpful but really flourished with Creo after an in person day long training by PTC on the west side of Chicago last year.  Thanks again for a GREAT event!  The course showed the team that they could overcome some of their hesitance to design on paper by bringing their ideas to life in Creo.  As the team is uncomfortable creating engineering drawings at this time, they find Creo as a rapid idea development environment where the ideas in their head translate into the CAD environment.  And so that is what they did . . .   The steps they took are as follows: &nbs

We created a simple model to try to learn how to simulate movement in PTC Creo, but after I see it successfully simulate, it forces me to delete all the servo motors and the the motor analysis (after I regenerate the model as well). Would you be able to describe how I should reset the model and how to save a playback to save the animation. Thank you!
