It also explains the improvements and expansion of the product offerings to the customer. Space is a big place. When designing for space everything is big, complex, and it really is rocket science. The models used are large and can be detailed down to every bolt, requiring a lot of computer horsepower to keep up. This presentation will delve into some best practices NASA KSC – ESC has developed to improve performance when working with these large PTC Creo Parametric models. The presenter will also discuss many of the bad practices that make large models difficult to work with and why. Hi all,   I would like to use the function append_catalog_path to add my custom catalogs but it doesn't seem to work. Looks like it does nothing. So I'm wondering if any of you know what are the return codes of this function and how can I check the catalog paths after the call of this function. I tried to add a hook but it is never activated. My calls to append_catalog_path are placed in a script located in the "init" folder of my custom application. Thanks in advance for your help   Regards,   Eric

In Arbortext 5.4, an alternative option for print composition "Advanced Print Publisher" is being introduced for Styler and APE.  Initially introduced as a Technology Preview, this new option for composition will allow Styler users to take advantage of APP's powerful language support to produce high-quality printed output for international readers.  Many of us in the Arbortext community were introduced to APP in 2004 at the AUGI conference that year.
