Hi all, my problem seems to be sooo simple, yet I struggle with the details.   The GOAL: - implement an one way interface between PTC RV&S (12.3 ++) and an external webservice that offers a RestAPI  ("fire & forget")   Approach: - a rule based post event trigger shall fire in case the PTC item reaches a certain state. - the custom JS trigger script transfer the ID of a PTC item to an external webservice as follows: 1. prepare the POST message containing the ID as a JSON format 2. sends the data to a (hardcoded) URL 3. receive the response and log success OR error    The PROBLEM: - inside the custom JS trigger code step 1 is easy, but the actual sending of the POST request seams to be extremely tricky   I tried to use the  mks.frame.triggers.beans.ScriptProcessBuilderBean - to create a mks.frame.triggers.beans.ScriptProcessBean - that should run a CURL command performing the actual webrequest   As this did not work I tried&n

Apologies in advance, if this is not the correct place to post a question against Windchill Modeler (v9.3)When I select a SysML Use Case and then view the Text Tab in it’s Properties Pane, I can only see pulldowns for the Intent, Description and “Alternate Courses” properties. Per the Use Case (Dictionary item) supported properties, it’s missing the “Post Conditions”, “Pre Conditions”, “Timing Note” and “Visibility”. How can I include and populate these missing properties?  Thanks for any help!

Hey guys, I want to extend my model items with a stereotype and some Tag Definitions. One of those Tag Definitions is an "ID". I am looking for a way how the ID gets updated by "+1" every time I apply the stereotype to a model item. Do you know a way how to do so?Many thanks in advance.RegardsSimon

The issue is about WindChill RV&S ver. 12.... I have critical problem with selecting and processing more than around 50 items from over 1000 items heap. This is very bad situation because what should have taken me 1 minute took me 2 hours!. I cannot send you screens about details but ERROR msg MKS134744 was returned when more than 50 items were selected. Please try to answer the details how to fix it for the future job. Because nobody is willing to pay 120 times more for my job (one minute vs 120min). Thank you very much for your understanding.

Hello everybody! I would like to limit editability of Requirement fields depending on user role and Document state. How could it be made? I know about the Editability tab in type Edit window. But State field is used both for Document and Requirement  items and have independent values. My idea is to add to Requirement one more computed field which value will be set depending on Document state field. However such a solution will need for the new field to be visible for Editable rule to be executed. And as from my experience any computed field needs time to be computed which is a problem for big Documents. Maybe you can propose another solution or tell me about documented procedure which I haven't found yet. 

It would be convinient if Fields definitions could be copied like Type definitions.   Today when I need to create a new field which is quite similar to one I already have and since there is no "Copy Field..." function I have to create new Field and copy carefully all the setting manually from original Field.

How do I get the selected items in the client from the Java API?Is there an im-command or is the only way to use System.getenv("MKSSI_ISSUE0")?

Hello all, I have the Windchill RV&S Jenkins plugin installed on out Jenkins server and it builds the PTC project on manual request. I expected that a file change, i.e., a file check-in in that project, to trigger an automatic build since the Change Detection mode is set by default to File Change mode, but that does not happen. Any idea why? Thanks a lot!  

Hi Community,Since for many if us Metrics are very important and should be always in-line and for some it's not very important as well. As in system there is an OOTB trigger Daily Metrics which updates the metrics of all active projects and libraries including documents underneath it. Issue:- Since this trigger is based on beans which provides very fast performance but there is an issue in this trigger if let's say this trigger has to process 1000 documents and in 600th document some entries are wrong e.g. Assigned User is no more part of LDAP and this is very common issue everywhere. In this situation trigger will stop here and rest 400 documents are never processed. This is the reason metrics are not at all updated since long time in some of the documents. And manually need to turn on debug log and go through entire log to check which is corrupted document. Solution:- I have written existing trigger in different way and following improvements i made:-Trigger goes

Normally we use to export document via "Export to Excel" button on client directly, and the column configure views are exported into excel. The same should be possible with CLI, do we have any CLI available?

Hi,   I am trying to create a report containing Test Cases, Test Steps and the Verdict, all belonging to a single Test Session. The standard PTC article only gives examples on how to create this report without the Test Steps, and the report they refer to is only editable in HTML. How can I add test steps when there are no field to select the steps?   Anyone has some experience with this?   Regards, Nils

Hi,Is it possible to display the test steps field values like ID,Summery, Annotation,Verdict in the test session report current am using <%beginteststepsresultdetail%> because of this tag the values will display only if verdict field is filled..but my requirement is need to display all the details even verdict field is empty...am using integrity 11.2 and windchichill RV & S software, thank you 

Is it possible to display the test steps results in the test session report recipe even the verdict field value is empty.. Is there any other tag apart from %beginteststepresultdetail%

I am  trying to create a User Defined review where I am extracting the Blocks having custom stereotype ("testStereotype") applied, which is working fine but I also want the final count (In Reviewer "Out of" Count) of all the available Block, for which I am using .itemCount as shown in attached image. It looks like the items.Count is giving the count for first value of 'var' instead of letting the loops complete and giving the count. Please let me know if someone can help on this. @PatrickOllerton

When ı was opened the admin, I got  as below message; "MKS124803: Internal error detected: Exception was: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Input byte array has incorrect ending byte at 16" How can I handle this issue? Anyone has a idea?
