Mathcad Installation

When I open the installer for my free trial and get to the application selection screen there are no applications to select and I cannot click next. I’ve seen this posted in the past but none of the solutions are working fore me. Any help is appreciated. 

Hi everyone,We use Mathcad Prime at work, and our license is managed through our own company server. My employer gave me the IP address and port details to enter into the settings for activation. However, I can't seem to find where to download the actual installation package.Our IT support told me to get it from the Mathcad website, but I can't find it there, and I don't have an official PTC account to log in. Any advice on what to do?

Hi,I was trying to move my MC15 license from my old PC to my laptop, but in the process something went wrong, so now I have the MC15 license in place for my PC, but the additional extensions are locked to something “null” I’m unable to move or recover the extensions, and thus the license file I can generate only includes the program. I get this error “CRITICAL: Product license is overallocated”How do I reset the licenses totally and generate a new host that will include both MC15 and extensions? Thanks! \\\Jens

We have had Mathcad 14 installed since 2019 but now need to move the install/license to a new machine but person who originally activated the license retired. I need to be able to activate or move the license. I created a ptc account but can’t reach the “manage licenses” page it says: Access Denied - Insufficient PrivilegesYour web account does not hold the following required privileges to access the application:License Management Reporting for read-only access.License Management Licensing for configuration and license file generation access.”I tried calling the support 1-800 number but it says I have to have a customer support number to get support. I have no idea what that would be. How can I get assistance? We still have the original mathcad activated license file on the original machine, does that have the customer number? I need a way to get support.

After changing my PC to a new one i need reinstall Mathcad14, but its activation can not be completed (activationserver -403). As i bought my MATHcad14 from Mathcad before it was owned by PTC i have no customer number from PTC and therefore are unable to upgrade my PTC User account. However my software is a commercial singleversion and i plan to operate it without being forced to buy a new version. Send me new licence file.

Having trouble getting my 30-day free license trail of MathCAD Prime 11.0.0.

Hello,I purchase the student licence and accidentally activated it on mi pc but i need it in my laptop. When I try teh suggested student licence transfer steps, It verifys my product code and then says my account does not have the privilages to perform the licence what can I do?Any tips or ideas as to how to solve it would be greatly appreciated.

My employer purchased mathcad for 3 of us, however despite IT saying mathcad is installed, it is only the trial version. I need to get the product key/code so I can utilize the license we paid for. To date, I have never been able to use the purchased version of mathcad and it was purchased about 3 months ago. please assist.

I cannot print to PDF when text contains Calibri font type. As soon as I change the font type to something else, such as Arial, the file will print to PDF without issue. I and several associates are encountering the exact same issue. We are using MathCAD Prime 12.0.0.1. Is this a known issue? Will it be fixed in a future update?

Hello. I am a student at Næstved Zealand and we use the free trial version of mathcad here. I have gotten a new computer and need to download it again but i am not able to. I keep filling out the blanket where it says: Free 30-day trial of Mathcad engineering calculations software. But when i finish it says i need to wait hours to get an email with a download link. But i never get this download link i have waited days and tried over and over. Is it possible to help me please?

I cant get the license to work in my MathCad for the trial

I have a student version of Mathcad 15 that I was using years ago.Now, I want to install it on a new laptop and open my old files, but I receive an error from remote server during the installation.Can anybody help me with this process?Picture below shows the error message that I receive while trying to install the software. Thanks, 

I do not recieve e-Mail from PTC when it says to go to my email during the acquisition of the 30 days trial license.

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 3.0 and DatecodeN/A print does not working.

We would like to transfer our Mathcad 14.0 installation to a new hardware due to a hardware replacement. Is there any advice about how to get an updated license file?

If I upgrade my web account to a global support agreement will a mathcad 14 license be issued using the https://support.ptc.com/appserver/lm/mathcad/call_logger/callLogger.jsp tool. I understand mathcad 14 and 15 are no longer supported however this tool mentioned above is still present and mentioned in forums. I just want to know if it still will grant licenses if I upgrade my account to global support. If it does how do I update/upgrade my account to this? Has anyone else done this? We have used the non prime version of mathcad(s) for decades at our structural firm with hundreds of mathcad spread sheets. I have tried the trial of the latest prime and the conversion of the sheets is worrisome. ebooks using roarks and young will also not work. Not to mention probably not backwards compatible if edited with a machine on prime, then trying to open on one of our other machines with Mathcad 14.

I own a perpetual Mathcad 14.0 M020 Single User license purchased directly from PTC. The legacy MCLicense.exe utility authenticates to my PTC account, but the activation request fails with HTTP 403 Forbidden before a license.dat is generated. Since license.dat is never created, Mathcad reports that C:\Program Files (x86)\Mathcad 14\licenses\license.dat does not exist. Can someone generate a replacement license.dat or License Pack manually?My old PC crashed so I am unable to locate the old file.

I have an existing permanent node-locked educational license for Mathcad 15 and am moving Mathcad from my old computer to a new Windows 11 computer. I still have the original product code and existing license file. Mathcad 15 is installed and running to the point where it requests licensing. The Mathcad Single User/Student Get License page accepts my product code but redirects me to License Management, where my PTC account reports insufficient privileges. The Single User/Student Log Case option also does not proceed. I need assistance re-hosting my existing permanent Mathcad 15 license to the new computer and obtaining a replacement license file for the new Host ID. I can provide the old and new Host IDs, product code, and existing license file privately if required.

What do I use to i stall mathcad

I have purchased a new computer because my old computer can not be updated to windows 11. I have Mathcad 14, #15, Mathcad Prime 3.1 on my old computer. I want to put them on my new computer and my question is whether I can copy the files to a usb drive and put them onto my new computer? Or cand is download the from and old download file? Or do I new to get a new download from PTC?Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
