Mathcad

HI i dont know who i cant convert the file from xmcd to mcdx. can some kind soul help me to convert it ?

I am a long time user of pre-Prime MathCad and have until recently been using MathCad14. I had a quick test drive of Prime when it was first launched and hated it. For reasons beyond my control, I have had to do a fresh re-installation of Windows 11 Pro. I have reinstalled MathCad but now I am unable to register its licence (“Error 403 - Forbidden”).Can anyone confirm if I should be able to continue using my old MathCad? Or has the licensing for this been discontinued? 

Hello Ladies and Getelman, I am a student of the TU-Wien in engenering. I really like the Cad lessons and have great fun creating parts and assemplys with Creo butrecently my licensestoped working. I tryed activating it again with the installation guide providet by the TU but every time i try to put in the licencing Code It just says Error (Fehler!). I asked my proffesors about this and they just sayed that it looks like they can´t do anything and i should figure out a allternative like working on the projekts from a friends PC. But a have a assiment due the 24. and every student got a differnet one so i would have to make everything again with took an entire semester with 4 weekly hours each and many more at home. I don´t know what i can do, maybe i am just to dumb to install a new license. I would really appriciate a repply with a solution to my problem if there is one. Hello,  Moving to Mathcad Prime 9 from V15, and noticed there are no rules or guidelines to align the different regions of the document. Any suggestions/tips/tricks to align the regions other by eyeballing them?

Snapping to the grid is not a good alternative to being able to align a group of regions.  It was very easy in Mathcad 15.  

I am trying Prrime for the first time today. How do you align regions vertically? I know how to do it in M15, but I can not figure out how to do it in Prime. I also can not find in the help guide.Thanks Andrew

Have a good day, community. I have a problem with solving a vector-type equation. The issue is that the solution only returns the last result, ignoring the previous calculations. Could someone please help me? I’m uploading the file in Mathcad Prime V.10. 

Hi, I recently changed the motherboard on my PC, and my Mathcad15 licence is no longer valid. Impossible to tranfer it to a new host ID, PTC does not recognise it. I have Mathcad prime 3.1 licence, working well, but the converter from .xmcd to mcdx does work without Mathcad 15 operating. I need only 6 files to be converted.My question is if anybody having Mathcad 15 and Mathcad prime 3.1 installed could kindly do this conversion for me.I join a ZIP with the filesNote that Prime 3.1 version is required, More recent versions might deliver .mcdx files not readable with 3.1 version. I’ve read that somewhere on this siteThanks in advance 

Mathcad Prime 10.0.1 correctly read cells from Excel which includes multiple lines (<ALT>+<Enter>), displaying de read content in several lines within Mathcad.The correct interpretation of <ALT>+<Enter> was removed in Prime 11 and 11.0.1.Formatting the displayed way of the content of read values, without this change of lines, is impossible.Is this correct interpretation restored in Prime 12?

Trying to solve a large linear algebra Ax=b problem using Prime.The x:=lsolve(A,b) says not enough memory, but I can solve the same size using other software on my large 128GB of RAM.Prime 11 reports in task manager as only 217 MB.How do I give Prime access to more memory if possible?Cheers 

Hi people. I followed the program and installed the student version of Mathcad but can not start it on my computer. Any advice ?

Not able to register Mathcad 14 licence in the PTC portal. Received error 403

I could not find any other support, so I decided to write the message here. I am a student and our school uses Mathcad 11. I received a code for Mathcad pro from my teacher, but I am unable to activate it. I downloaded the software and it shows that I have the free version, and that I can activate the pro version by clicking a button on the top right. I did that and got to the licence assistant. I logged in and put the code in, but it gives me an error message "server error" after I try to install the licence. A link leads me to here: "https://support.ptc.com/appserver/support/account/contact_customer_care.jsp", but I either don't get any help from there, or I am unable to access it due to not having the correct web account. I am unable to upgrade my web account, because I don't have the data required to do so. The only thing I have is the code and the need to get this app so i can work with it in school.

I am trying to compute the equivalent annual percentage rate (APR) for a series of variable deposits with variable returns.Using the “find” function results in the error message “No solution was found...”. I tried opening up the TOL value, that didn’t help. So I tried the “minerr” function next and a different error message is displayed “Indexed assignment...”, My questions are:Which of the two errors is relevant? Can I solve equations with indexed constraints in a solve block?MP11 file is attached.Thanks for your help,

When I try to download my licence to install the 30 days pro version of Mathcad a Server error shows up

Hello,I finally managed to install and run PTC Mathcad Prime 12 after solving multiple installation issues.At first, the application would not start at all and crashed with the following error in Event Viewer:"Cannot locate resource 'worksheetresources.xaml'"The issue was related to the Windows display language. After changing Windows from Polish to English and reinstalling Mathcad, the application now starts correctly.However, I now have a licensing problem.When I try to activate the 30-day trial, the License Wizard first showed several "Server Error" messages. After multiple attempts, I now receive this error:"You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type."As a result, Mathcad only works in Express mode and I cannot activate the trial license.Could someone from PTC please:reset my trial activation limit, assign a trial license to my account, or provide manual activation instructions?I would really appreciate any help.Thank you.
