How to export and import data in a cloud version of composer since it is not installed locally there is no thingworxStorage?             

Hi,I noticed lately that sometimes when I have several properties marked as logged they create two rows in value stream which differ in timestamp in +-15ms.There is a service that parses json and writes ints,numbers,bools and a datetime into a Thing.Is there something I can do about it? (I know I can solve it with a Stream as well, but ValueStream was sufficient so far)Thank you for your suggestions Jara

Hello,   I have a navigation widget on my mashup (responsive) which open a modal popup. My problem is that depending on the resolution of the screen, the size of the popup is more or less correct. (For example, on 27' screen with big resolution, the popup is too small.)   I see we can bind the popup size on the navigation wigdet (FixedPopupWidth and FixedPopupHeight). Is it possible to get main mashup size so that I can set via a service the popup size to 75% (for example) of the main mashup ?   Thanks. Best regards   Julien  

Hello, currently I am analysing a Dataset. With most goals I get results, but with two of those features the trained models do not show any results. Eventhough the models are completed sucsessfully, the evalutation Parameters and the Graph stays empty as well as the signals. What could be the reason for this?    

Hi, I'm new to ThingWorx and in general an IT newbie.   I installed the 120 day Trial Edition 8.2 on Windows 7 Enterprise SP 1. Also installed Docker/Oracle Virtual Box.Yesterday completed the installation, but now I can't accsess the Composer via http://192.168.99.100:8080/Thingworx/Composer/ anymore. It says "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED".   DockerMachinePTC running well in Virtual Box   Hope, you can help me.   Regards nairobi

Hi, I have a problem with configuration of Advanced Grid columns via JSON. My goal is to create one editable column, which should have boolean type, so it seems to be ok according to the doc. Now the JSON config: First part: var result = { "cellEditingEnable": true, "columns": { .... Second Part (under column def): "description": "....", "columnFormatter": { "type": "boolean", "format": "notext", "cellEditor": { "enabled": true, "type": "checkbox" } } I tried avery possible comination, format as checbox, notext, remove format, remove type and it is still not editable at all. I have a mashup called Mashup1 and it contains Datatable1 and an Editable Grid1. All the changes made in Grid1 is Saved in Datatable1. I also Have another Mashup called Mashup2 and it contains Datatable2 and an Editable Grid2. All the Changes made to Grid2 is saved in Datatable2. Now here is my Problem. I wanted to Display row4 from Datatable1 in Editable Grid2.  Changes made to row4 from Editable Grid2 should also be reflected in Datatable1. Thanks in advance. 🙂

Hi.   I get a thingworx c-sdk and I want to use it My C++ project.   But in thingworx c-sdk, it uses 'namespace' as some parameter's name.   As I know 'namespace' is reserved word in C++.   How can I resolve it?

Hi, I wanted to have multiple users using my application and came to know that session management is the solution. I have couple of questions on the same.      1. Thingworx session management is for Thingworx logged-in users, as I understood.         However, I have my user data stored in GraphDB. Can I make use of the Thingworx session management          features in that situation?      2. Is there any proper documentation where I can obtain some insights regarding the TWX session                           management?    

Hi, I created a service for displaying current date time "SELECT substring(convert(varchar(20), GetDate(), 9), 13, 5) + ' ' +substring(convert(varchar(30), GetDate(), 9), 25, 2)" I am getting output correctly on saving but I am not able to create data shape, On saving I am getting an error "save failed, status: error message: Import Failed: A Valid Name Must Be Provided".   I checked the application log but it says the same error as Invalid name. Is possible to get access to PTC hosted ThingWorx environment.  i.e. PTC provides hosted ThingWorx environment.  I want to run some exe on this environment to automate some of the manual task. Is it possible to get access such machine or VM?

We have connected around 20000 device with connection server we can see number of connections on connection server ( using netstat) but we cannot see same amount of connection on Platform.   How we can check this same on platform specially on WSS ( Web Socket)    Look like we can see multiple thread on connection server (Based on connected agents) but this is transferring data on platform in single thread?   Please suggest

Hi team, I have connected an asset to KepServerEX (version 6.2) and I am currently trying to push data from KepServerEX to Thingworx platform using existing Things (version 8). As you can see in "quickClient" and "ThingworxProperties" screenshots attached, the data are well retrieved in KepServerEX. The Thingworx connection properties are also good and the connection is established with the platform. In Thingworx, I manage the bindings correctly  by going to New Composer -> BearingFaultSimulatorRemote thing-> properties-> manage bindings (see "manageBindings_thingworx" screenshot attached). Unfortunately I can't get data in Thingworx and I get the same error message for all the variables by going to application monitoring logs (see "error_thingworx" screenshot attached) : "Error reading property [thing: BearingFaultSimulatorRemote, property: Bearing***] No return from Property Read Request" I already spent some time trying to solve it by restarting servers, changing

I Import Manufacturing Extension in to my thingworx 8.2 and through which i can access manufacturing app but i don't  know about how to configure Kepware tag and get runtime value for there. i configure server and Discover device successfully....   Thanks in advance   

I downloaded the Thingworx Analytics Trial from here: https://developer.thingworx.com/resources/downloads/analytics-trial-edition My desktop runs Windows 10 Pro, and I installed Docker 17.09.0-ce as suggested in the Trial Edition Guide included in the package above. Docker is tested with hello-world and returned an expected output.    Then, I tried to run "AnalyticsTrialEdition-8.2.0-r3-windows-installer", but I failed when it tried to install Analytics Server. I guess it might be the reason that my Foundation is not up. Instead running the bundle that installs the entire package at once, I installed each component one by one.   I installed "installer-twxfoundationH2-devzone-windows", and then "AnomalyDetectionServices-8.2.0-windows-installer". When I got to "ThingWorxAnalyticsServer-8.2.0-r4-windows-installer", it didn't seem be installed correctly. I have encountered following errors. And I didn't see any new Things created on my Thingworx composer.   &

I have created two MQTT things. I have connected both to a public MQBroker -say Mosquito. Some times only one "thing" connection is true, the other "thing" gets disconnected. This happens often. Is there any issue in using same broker/servername for two mqtt thing.

Hi,   I was trying to include few of my entities in custom extension. The workflow is easy:   Reproduce: Create Thing -> Add Subscription (me:ThingStart) -> Export as Source Control Entities -> Add to Entities folder in extension sources -> Try to import extension -> ERROR   Attribute 'sourceType' is not allowed to appear in element 'Subscription'. In MyEntity.xml file there is actually this attribute: sourceType: Thing.  After deleting it it is working perfectly.   It's bug or I'm missing something?   Thanks, Adam
