For particular workflow processes, it is hanging at the Set State Robot, and throwing the following error. I could not find any root cause for this issue. A nested transaction cannot be started when a rollback is in progress. The following is the rollback stacktrace. Under "Legacy" change there was a built in rule that prevented a revision from being the result of more than one Change Notice.  As soon as someone tried to add the revision to the results table of a second task, Windchill stopped them and threw up an alert telling them they could not do that.   That rule does not seem to be enforced under "Flexible" change.  I can have Rev A of the same Document be the result of any number of Change Notices.  That doesn't make sense in our company.   Does anyone know if there is a way to configure that rule in Flexible change?

Hi All,   Wanted to see which ways there would be to attack this... I have users that will get promotion requests with say 10 or more drawings... once the promotion request inevitably goes thru the rework process, my users cannot tell which drawings have been iterated, and need rechecking at a glance.  I was thinking perhaps there is a way to display this in a notification email?  Or a new tab on the promotion request page which says whether a drawing has a new iteration (True/false) since the last submission?   Thanks in advance for weighing in!

Working in a part structure which is not CAD-driven I'm able to edit the positions of parts in Creo View and commit to Windchill using the command "Save Part Location". A very handy command in many situations, how ever this commit will not create a new iteration in Windchill. In some cases you add parts / resources to your structure with the intention to add positition in a later stage but if you use MPMLink to populate mbom, occurrencers are copied with position and then no manual change of position is expected. Trying to change the position of a part in Windchill, parent is automatically checked out. I expect a consistent behaviour where I'm able to follow up on who did what and be able to reverse unintended changes.

When a file is checked into Windchill 11.0 m030, the wcadmin account ends up with a Submit task in the Task list. I can only Accept, Decline or Reassign these tasks. I want to delete them!   How do I delete them? How do I prevent new ones from appearing? What do I need to modify in my Windchill setup to eliminate them from being generated?

Hello guys, is there a way to add multiple existing parts when modifying a BOM?Instead of adding one per one, it is allowed when creating new parts "Create multiple parts"But not when already createdCould you please help? Thanks!    

Ciao, anyone tried to compare performance or other abilities between embedded Creo browser engines IE and Chromium? It is driven by config parameter "windows_browser_type" and can be set up to "ie_browser" or "chromium_browser". Running on Creo 4 M060 with Windchill 11.1 M020 but see not much difference between these two options. What should I test/compare to get some meaningfull result? Anyone using IE or Chromium in long term to share experience? Thx in advance   My browser details are here

Hi,   We are performing some business logic on post-publish, in the delegate and in case of validations, need to send some kind of feedback message/alert to the User interface so that user is notified of the reason of any validations failures happening  in the delegate method. Want to understand what could be a solution to achieve this? if anyone has worked on something similar request to please share any inputs, suggestions. Would really appreciate it. We implemented the Rework option in our promotion requests similar to the out of the box template in 10.2. The rework options works great, as long as they don't need to change the collection. A secondary problem we've found is that often the promoter will forget they have a promotion in rework, and will create a new promotion request.So we end up with a brand new promotion and one that has rework data recorded. This leads to queue failures when it's trying to lock an object that's already locked in Under Review. My first instinct is to check for the objects being in Under Review. Though when the second promotion is started it's at an In Work state. You could only catch the failure on the original promotion with all the data. We perform a check of objects checked out already. We also have a terminate path as part of the Rework task if they find a duplicate promotion or need to change the collection and just can't move forward with it. Hi All,I have created custom action "New MCN" on change Request action and this is pointing to OOTB "New Change Notice" Wizard step.My requirement is when a user selects "New Change Notice" action, In the wizard step Type dropdown should display only subtypes prefixed with "ECN" and when user selects "New MCN" , Type dropdown should display only subtypes prefixd with "MCN".

We are in the process of installing (for the first time at our company) Windchill 11.0 (M030). We currently use Inventor 2017.  For Windchill we will be using Windchill Workgroup Manager 11.0 M030. So far the only issue we have encountered is a font display problem in GDT frames and diameter symbols in dimensions. This Our VAR told us to use the help center font solution for AutoCAD files. That did not solve our Inventor problem.  AutoCAD 2D files view correctly.In image 1.png, red circled letter is supposed to be a Profile of a Surface symbol.  The yellow highlighted letters are supposed to be Diameter symbols..

I am wanting to delete non-latest iterations of assembly123.asm because there is an accidental revision of part123.prt that was stored in the non-latest iterations of assembly123.asm. The error message that I get says:   Attention: A referential integrity violation occurred for this operation: Cannot delete master "assembly123.asm -.11" because it is referenced by the following versions: assembly123.asm -.13   Does anyone know why a later version would be dependent on an earlier version of a Creo 5 assembly? I don't know how this link was created or how to break it.   Thanks in advance for your input.

Hello, we use Windchill as the back end product of xml in Arbortext Editor. We've been told that Windchill is the best way to manage and use content that is reused in multiple documents. Does anyone have experience doing this or does anyone have instructions? Thanks!  

I have a Windchill ODATA End-point that streams(edm.stream) the representation of a document. Is there a code snippet to consume the stream from odata response.
