From my knowledge it is possible via the commands to check out/check in: si createsandbox si co (check out) and si ci (check in)   the question I have is if it's possible to do this even without creating the sandbox before. So like it is done on web interface where you can work directly inside the project without a sandbox

Hi Experts,   We are currently challenged with the below attached use case as it is at this point a manual task. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome:)   Expected Results: Should be able to see whole BoM structure (similar to Design BoM) released to Global Plant in ERP system (refer below attachment). Should be able to see BoM structure released to specific plants with only necessary Part Substitute picked in ERP system (refer below attachment). To follow Digital Thread/Traceability, how to make sure that the correct Part Substitute can be assigned when building Process Plan from M-BoM. Is it a possibility to use Alternate BoM approach? If Yes, then how to have the structure created which fulfils below expected results? Looking forward to get wiser with the recommendations/ideas shared. Thank you in advance. Stay Safe...!!! Most of the assignment triggers in our environment that are meant to clear/blank out a rich-text field are configured to a value like "<!-- MKS HTML --> ". Not sure why the consultants put it in there. Is this necessary? Why not just clear it to a blank value? Reached out to PTC Support, but nothing helpful so far. 

I have tried to setup a C# project with referenced to ENT6Lib. But it will always raise an error that the COM classes for ENT6Lib.CCaseProjects not registered.   System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: 'Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {594B0CA2-7610-11D1-BA96-444553540000} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)).' I have install the Modeler with the option client only. What else need I prepare to fix the problem? Thanks!  

Unfortunately I forgot to checkpoint my project. Now I have about 30 change packages with several released software versions within. How get I get the source code of those releases?   Is there a possibility to download the content of a change package? Or even better to download a sandbox after  e.g. the first 4 change packages?

Is there a way to globally search and replace strings across documents. I have about 300 parameters that now have to be slightly modified in about 80 test suites. Can this be done either using the GUI or through the command line?

Hello,   I'm seeking help to accomplish the following   TASK:   Incrementally transfer history records of an item from PTC Integrity to an external database. Besides that, extract only a subset of fields, contained in the history records.   DESIRED APPROACH:   - Get the timestamps of existing history records of the item in PTC Integrity, - Get the timestamps of the history records already stored in the external database, - Determine which timestamps from PTC Integrity are missing in the external database, - Get the missing history records from PTC Integrity one by one and store them in the external database   PROBLEMS:   - The only way to get the history records seems to be using an "im viewissue --showHistory" call. - Using this call, it doesn't seem to be possible to reduce the output to a subset of fields contained in the item.   This leads to:   - Necessity to retrieve complete history of the item, including all history records and all f

A Java application uses mksapi-jar client library and attempts to retrieve item history using "im viewissue --showHistory" calls for multiple items one by one. Running requests agains the remote server and through the local IntegrityClient shows huge difference in response times and network traffic.   The table below shows response times for several items using local and remote integration points. All tests are executed from the same machine.   The meanings of the columns are:   - Size (M): The size of the raw XML response in MB - Local: The duration of the request if using a Local Integration Point integrationPoint = integrationPointFactory .createLocalIntegrationPoint(major, minor); - Remote: The duration of the request if using a Remote Integration Point integrationPoint = integrationPointFactory .createIntegrationPoint(host, port, secure, major, minor); - Factor: Remote / Local (rounded)   Test Results:   Size (M) Local Remote Factor 1 :02 :06 3 1

PROBLEM:   The PTC Integrity server responds with uncompressed XML to the calls issued though the Java API client library (mksapi-jar-4.16.1413.jar). The returned XML is even pretty-printed and thus additionally increased in size. For certain calls, for example retrieval of the history for an item using "im issue --showHistory" command, this leads to significant performance and traffic penalties. Today user if user wants to know which checkpoint is working , the user is left with the option of opening the project history to find the details of checkpoint or open project information to find detail, instead easy way is in project view there is label column , integrity can show the details in sandbox or project view so that user dont need to open project history or project information.

Hello All, If a Visio file (containing macros) is included in Integrity, only the Visio-icon is displayed instead of the usual preview. Other Visio files (without macros) are previewed as desired.   Can't Integrity handle macros or why is there no preview displayed?   Many thanks in advance!
