Hi Team,We are developing a WPF application, where in using ISOViewer for rendering Images. We get .cgm images from service and ISOVIEWER helps in rendering the same.However, when we try to print images using the print function , it always send it to default or opens up a pop up for selecting printer. I want to send my image to the selected printer by manually setting the printer in code itself i.e without opening the pop-up for printer selection. Is there any way to do this ?

I'm working with DITA, using conrefs with the conkeyref attribute set to manage variable content (for example, switching product names on output generation). However, to prevent issues because of typos, I would like the conkeyref attribute to be filled in automatically from the source file. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?

I made a manual as my generic, now I want to make another manual using the same files. I made all my files through the dita map of the first manual. Now that I want to make the second one, i can't do a save as, there is no link, therefore I started another dita map. Now I don't see the files that are saved on my hard drive to pick from I only see the dita map created, if I try to insert file they are directly linked to the previous dita map in the filename. How do I make a second manual from those files if I can't pick from them?St

Hi,Getting an error showing "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid." (screenshot attached) while initializing installation just after running setup.exe from Arbortext Editor dump and can't proceed thereafter. How to resolve this issue?Please help...

I am trying to find out more about the APP desktop software. Is this the software that is used post-process for formatting clean-up (line breaks, hypenation), therefore not included with the Styler UI? And does anyone have a ballpark on what that particular software lists for?Jason A. Hello all, I am a first time poster on this community forum and I was hoping to get community feedback on if the following would be worth an enhancement request. As I have engaged on customization projects, a few similar requirements have required repeated custom code to achieve.1) oid_find_child_attrs() and oid_find_parent_attrs() are unable to locate schema defaulted attributes. I feel this is an issue because Styler and oid_xpath functions are able to detect these defaulted values, whereas these two functions are unable to.2) oid_find_children() and similarly named functions. On the face of it, one would assume that I would be finding children within a target oid, but this function infact returns all descendants. Would be a nice feature to possibly have a flag to find just direct children of the target oid. Also on this note, would be nice to have an oid_find_ancestor() that worked up the tree instead of being required to loop using oid_parent()3) ACL oid_xpath functions supporting

Using Arbortext 5.4, S1000D 4.0.1, would like to color code the text that is displayed between element tags (using applicRefId="ap001") that are tied back to an applicability statement like <applic id="ap001"> for a given data module. Having used this in other editors like XMetaL that allow for this when authoring in DITA, was wondering if anyone could point me to how this might be done with Arbortext Editor 5.4 for S1000D 4.0.1?!? So for every time an element within a data module uses applicRefId="ap001" the text between the element is color coded even highlighted. Would like to setup profiles for the users, so ap001 is one color, ap002 is a different color, etc.

I am exporting cgm files from ISO, and inserting a "fig-tittle-image" in Arbortext. I have tried different "move/fit/border" size BUT my figure tittle and image are always on 2 different pages when I publish to pdf. My page setting (preference) on my template is 8.5 X 11 and my bounding box is 7 X 9. Everything is withing the bounding box and I don't have a newpage inserted. There should be lots of room for the image, why does it publish my tittle on one page and the image on the second page. From Arbortext I have clicked on the image and open it and measured the bounding box border and indeed it does measure the 7 x 9. I don't understand why it is doing this.

I had to move arbortext ISO draw to a new computer. I then reveiced the laicense failure message. I subsequentlyu went to the license management page and moved my license from the old computer to the new computer. I have received my new licenses. How do I install the new licenses?

we currently have Arbortext Editor, Styler and Arbortext Publishing engine along with Documentum. We need to upgrade Documentum Environment to Content server 7.1 or 7.2 as well as upgrading to WebTop 6.8. Does PTC support those Environments?What are the latest Documentum environments you support?What are the latest versions of Arbortext Editor, Styler and Publishing Engine?

Here's a new one...I have an install of PE 6.1 M030 I have stood up and started testing. I have checked and tested, license is good, everything works fine for XML doctypes. So I recompiled my SGML doctypes, and tested a document, and get a failure back from PE when using an Editor client. I would like to configure Oracle clients for Arbortext CSDB S1000D with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) 11g v11.2.0.2. Has someone this type of configuration. Are there problems with this kind of Oracle version? Thank You

Hi All,Wondered if anyone knows an easy way to detect if 'any' dialogue is open, not just the main menu ones.For example below, this works fine to prevent a message pop-up from coming when using 'message' in a timer loop and you open 'save as' dialogue. Hi!I am converting SGML doctypes to XML but I get the following error when running the stylesheet validation:Expected an element nameThe error points to a parameter entity in the DTD:<!ELEMENT entry %tblcon;>I have removed this and tried validation but the errors always point to parameter entities.Any help would be appreciated!Thanks,Ali

Dear all,I am trying to figure out how the system administrator can configure the same setting among multiple Arbortext Editors.For example, In Arbortext Editor, Tools > Preferences > Preferences dialog box > Advanced > Acvanced Preferences dialog box, there is a preference named "newlist. How would you share the setting values of this "newlist" among multiple users? And how the system administrator configures it?FYI, I have already tried on the environmental variable "APTWCF" but it was not suitable for this purpose, because it also shared unnecessary values in Tools > Preferences. In Arbortext Editor you can select how to write non-ascii characters - either character entity references, numeric character references or characters.If you are comparing a document that was saved using a different method for non-ascii characters the compare tool lights up like a christmas tree.It would be nice to be able to configure the tolerance of the compare tool to ignore the difference of non-ascii characters that were written in different formats.

just got a new computer, 64-bit 12gig ram. All other apps seem to work fine but IsoDraw 7.0 is very slow. Sometimes sits 1-2 minutes between dialog boxes. Seems weird to only affect one program like this. Anyone else experience any slowness with IsoDraw on 64-bit machines?

Moreover, our xml file containing all the profiles that we use is also quite large.Is there any character limit that we might be exceeding? Hi, I have figures that are labeled Fig 1-1, FIg 1-2 etc. The first numeral is the section number. The counter increments by 1 every time a new figure is encountered. However sometimes we have occurrences of graphic 'sheets', that is called sheet 1 of 3, sheet 2 of 3, sheet 3 of 3. Then the figures are labeled: Fig 1-3 (sheet 1 of 3) Fig 1-4 (sheet 2 of 3) Fig 1-5 (sheet 3 of 3) I would like to stop figure incrementing by means of Styler when are sheets:Fig 1-2 Fig 1-3 (sheet 1 of 3)Fig 1-3 (sheet 2 of 3)Fig 1-3 (sheet 3 of 3)Fig 1-4 We use Arbortext Styler 6.1, FOSI engine.
