Arbortext

I can't seem to figure out if one can or how to set a dobj's modified state. Namely,  I want to set it to unmodified.

Getting "[A30156] Cannot register Java native calls for the AOM Node interface" error and there is no aom.jar in custom folder. I tired "eval option('javaclasspath')" in console but not success. Is there any way to debug it?Environment: Arbortext 6.1 and Java 1.6Thanks in advance,Bala

Hi,We are getting the following alert  in Arbor Text when we open multiple files in Arbor Text editor.Existing window is busy or has an active dialog box.Do you want to start another ArborText editor session?Earlier this seems to work.but not sure what happened,it suddenly gives the alert as below.Could anyone help me in this regard.

I am a DoD Arbortext v6.0 user. All AT files are uploaded to local server (G: drive). We recently upgraded to Windows 10. I had never had an issue with AT until then. Now, I have the following errors:When trying to open the SGML file:    When I select "Compile DTD":I have co-workers trying to help...no avail. I have full read/write access to everywhere the files may be stored, including desktop.All attempts to open any SGML files end up with same results, not just this one.Others with AT have no problem opening these files, even from the same directory.Active directory is my desktop.I would list the troubleshooting steps I have performed already, but there have been literally dozens, and I can't remember them all. I am not a computer wiz (pretty obvious by this point, I'm sure) but IT can't help, either.Some attempts have resulted in errors regarding the declaration file (???). I want to create a macro that starts where the cursor is, finds a spot in an xml doc, opens the Modify Attributes dialog box, and "tabs" to a certain attribute. I can get to the spot, but the dialog box doesn't open. Not sure how to make that happen. I want to populate the point attribute. close the Modify Attributes dialog, then have the macro find the next section element, open the Modify Attributes dialog, and go to the point attribute box, then end the macro, populate the attribute, close the dialog and run the macro again, rinse, repeat.Any ideas?

We recently moved from Arbortext 6.0 to Arbortext 7.0 (and had stylesheets converted from FOSI to APP).  Writers made extensive use of the _nopagebreak processing instruction in our source DITA files (usually to ensure that text and graphics is kept on the same page).I was reading the Arbortext 7.0 help, and it appears that _nopagebreak is not support by the APP engine.  Does anyone know what an equivalent replacement would be?

Hi,We are generating Word/RTF documents from styler and are having difficulties getting orderedlist numbers (<orderedlist><listitem><para>) to display with the correct font family and size (Calibri and 10pt). Also, the bullet list items (<itemizedlist><listitem><para>) are aligning directly under the orderedlist numbers rather than indenting. It appears there are default settings for these features because, we have adjusted Indent settings located in: Generated text -> Details...-> Indent following lines. However, this adjustment has no effect on the output.Can someone please provide guidance on how we can get the ordered list numbers to display with respective font family and size and most importantly getting indention when bullet list items are used?Thanks in advance!-Morais

I am attempting to create some helper plugins for our authors using Java. I made a post earlier this morning outlining that I cannot get 6.0 to see my custom/classes. On another machine I have 6.1, and it does read the custom/classes as advertised. Now I have come to another issue. It seems that the JRE Arbortext uses does not include the awt.event classes? In both my own developed test app, as well as the sample 'TagContent' app, I get this exception in the JavaConsole:Line 95 is at the bottom of this image:This is the error when attempting to run the sample provided by PTC. If I comment out the lines that call for 'ActionListener' I get no errors. Not sure what the 'correct' way is to use a button in Java Swing within Arbortext.Any help is much appreciated.Thank you,T.F.

This is probably a very basic question, with a beyond simple answer that I have overlooked, but I cannot get Arbortext to run the sample Java classes after placing them in the custom/classes folder. I am attempting to create some plugins for our authors here, and was hoping to run the samples to see how everything works. I get this error:[A30134] Cannot find the Java class TreeView.I have closed and reopened Editor multiple times with no luck. I am using Arbortext 6.0 date code M100.I was able to run this on 6.1 date code M090 once I compiled with the same version of Java as the Arbortext JVM. I tried this today once I got to work, but no luck, same error. Am I overlooking something? Reading the documentation I am lead to believe that Arbortext loads all classes in the custom/classes folder upon startup. Also, by placing the classes there I would not need to make any changes to the classpath for Arbortext.I tried placing an ACL in the custom/init folder with this command (as the README

Hello community,Isodraw crashes every time with certain graphics (3D) when we try to edit it. This issue happens on all our HP Zbook 15 laptops (5 times).When we use our laptops outside the dockingstation Isodraw is working fine. All drivers are updatet and the graphic adapter is NVIDIA Quadro K2100M.How can we solve this issue. Any ideas?Regards

Hello everyone,I have an issue whereby the pub _newline markup is not coming through in my output.It is placed within an element that is hidden and pulled through into a gentext table.The funny thing is, it was working some time ago,... and IS working in the v5.4 output (i have the same fosi cleaned up to use in v5.4) ... I'm not sure what I've changed that it doesn't now have effect in v7.The .dcf looks ok (touchup is yes) ... anything else I should be checking?Thanks,Tracey

The PTC TS tell me that only the eps has tiff preview image can display in APP correctly, then the question is how could i add the tiff preview image into the eps file.
