I have a request to start showing oversized pitch diameter for tapped holes. I have tried adding a parameter in the UNC.hol file without much luck.Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.Thanks,David

Can I open some file created in ProE Wildfire3 with ProE wildfire2? I can't save it as IGS or NEU because I need conserve all funtions of model tree. Thanks!

PTC recommends 14400 but we have heard that some companies may be setting this value to 100X the default value.We are encountering problems with the Windchill Cabinet graying out intermittently in Windchill PDMLink 8.0 / Wildfire 4.0. Hello,We own 8 seats of the old Flex 3C, which is now Enterprise SE I think.  With it, we have 8 'heavy user' seats of ProjectLink that we have never used.  We are looking into what it would take to implement it.  I understand that there are several that will host it for us, which is an interesting idea, but for now I'm interested in what it would take for us to host it ourselves.I've been told that we'd need a dedicated server exclusively for Windchill.  Is that true?I've been told that we'd need Oracle.  How much Oracle do we need to know in order to install and run ProjectLink?What else do I need to know?Doug Schaefer

Hi,I want to use thewildfire 3.0 pro/efeature"Automatic scaling to fit the model inside the space defined by the template view boundary". I am able to drag a view boundary in the template mode but not able to add a model to this viewto automatically scale the model to fit in that boundary.Can anyone help me with this please?Regards,Chandana

I just completed an assignment. I did the work in ProE WF4. I just found out my customer is using ProE WF3. Is there anyway to translate the file back to WF3 so he can open them? Currently I have both versions loaded on my computer (WF3 and WF$.) When I select the ProE Icon it automatically opens WF4. How do I access the WF3 software in the future?

More info for those keeping score at home: The "+.5" is for rounding. If you add 1.6 + .5 you get 2.1; whenyou take the floor of it, you get 2, which is 1.6 rounded. Anotherexample -- 1.4 + .5 = 1.9, floor(1.9) = 1, which is 1.4 rounded.Doug Schaefer

Hello All,I have a question that we have been struggling with for a while. There is a lot of us engineers that are traveling and working outside of the office. We are use SmarTeam for the PDM system, and trying to do anything with it over a VPN is almost impossible. It is so slow. I don't know if there is a fix for this or if there is something that others are doing. Just wondering if anyone has any experiences.Thanks for the help!Br,Spencer

I am trying this software (PE) out for the first time and i am finding this to be too difficult , i have created some 2d horizontal and vertical lines and i simply want to trim them together and add some fillets , it wont allow me to trim the lines or add fillets , under normal circumstances with other software's that i normally do this with it is pretty straight forward , does the personal edition not allow trimming ? some help would be much appreciated

Has anyone ever used the Evoluent Vertical mouse? If so, is it compatible with Pro-E WF 4? Does it really help ease wrist tensions? Any input would be helpful. Thanks! Chris
