Can anyone tell me why imported parts (in the .prt format) sometimes disappear when the units are changed?

When I open the document "What's New: Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0"; there are multimedia images and video links for most of the topics. My question is about the videos; I was able to view the video portion but I am wondering if there is an audio portion of these videos. If there is an audio what can be done to hear the audio. Otherwise I guess I simply want to know that no audio exists for these document links in this document.

I just upgraded my test and production server to Windchill 9.0 M070. I'm getting the follow message in the systems event viewer on my production server (but not on my test server):Message: Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a transaction response from the FASTDSService service.Does anyone know what this service is and why it's trying to start? Google tuned up one thing and it had to do with FASTInstream but wasn't very useful. Thanks in advance.Dave

I am in the process of creating a UNEF hole chart for WF4. I guess the 1st quesion would be... Has anyone already done this and have a file they are willing to share.If not, what software are you using to edit the table... I'm having trouble getting the columns and column headings to line up. I have a request to start showing oversized pitch diameter for tapped holes. I have tried adding a parameter in the UNC.hol file without much luck.Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.Thanks,David

Can I open some file created in ProE Wildfire3 with ProE wildfire2? I can't save it as IGS or NEU because I need conserve all funtions of model tree. Thanks!

Hello,We own 8 seats of the old Flex 3C, which is now Enterprise SE I think.  With it, we have 8 'heavy user' seats of ProjectLink that we have never used.  We are looking into what it would take to implement it.  I understand that there are several that will host it for us, which is an interesting idea, but for now I'm interested in what it would take for us to host it ourselves.I've been told that we'd need a dedicated server exclusively for Windchill.  Is that true?I've been told that we'd need Oracle.  How much Oracle do we need to know in order to install and run ProjectLink?What else do I need to know?Doug Schaefer

Hi,I want to use thewildfire 3.0 pro/efeature"Automatic scaling to fit the model inside the space defined by the template view boundary". Can someone tell me if he has created ANSI and DIN hole Tables in Pro/e and included the .hol files in hole_parameter_file_path or <loadpoint>\text\holes folder
