I just completed an assignment. I did the work in ProE WF4. I just found out my customer is using ProE WF3. Is there anyway to translate the file back to WF3 so he can open them? Currently I have both versions loaded on my computer (WF3 and WF$.) When I select the ProE Icon it automatically opens WF4. How do I access the WF3 software in the future?

More info for those keeping score at home: The "+.5" is for rounding. If you add 1.6 + .5 you get 2.1; whenyou take the floor of it, you get 2, which is 1.6 rounded. Anotherexample -- 1.4 + .5 = 1.9, floor(1.9) = 1, which is 1.4 rounded.Doug Schaefer

Hello All,I have a question that we have been struggling with for a while. There is a lot of us engineers that are traveling and working outside of the office. We are use SmarTeam for the PDM system, and trying to do anything with it over a VPN is almost impossible. It is so slow. I don't know if there is a fix for this or if there is something that others are doing. Just wondering if anyone has any experiences.Thanks for the help!Br,Spencer

I am trying this software (PE) out for the first time and i am finding this to be too difficult , i have created some 2d horizontal and vertical lines and i simply want to trim them together and add some fillets , it wont allow me to trim the lines or add fillets , under normal circumstances with other software's that i normally do this with it is pretty straight forward , does the personal edition not allow trimming ? some help would be much appreciated

Has anyone ever used the Evoluent Vertical mouse? If so, is it compatible with Pro-E WF 4? Does it really help ease wrist tensions? Any input would be helpful. Thanks! Chris

hi, Pic shows tat i had created multiple centrelines using copypaste in autocad. My problem is tat i want to create the same in pro-e 4.0, i tried with construction line in drafting but it doesn't takes the centre of circle. Is there any other method. Thanks in Advance.

All,Has Edit > Replace in Sketch mode in WF4 been "fixed?" In WF3, I select the new entity, click Replace and then select the entity to replace. Now in WF4 it seems as if I have to select the entity to be replaced first, then Replace command, and then the new entity.Can I unfix this?-Chris

I would like to try the included CAM Lite which is now bundled with Wildfire4.0 M080. I have been able to go thru and create an *.ncl file but amUn-able to post process it to a .nc file. I believe that Fanuc was supposedto be included. am I missing something?? Thankstodd

dear all, how to change bydefault units in pro-e

WF3, M170I have 2 components that assemble via a pivot pin.  I can assemble them together using an align on the pivot axes and mating the RIGHT planes.  Assembles fine, with or without an orient constraint.However, when I try to convert to connections so I can apply limits to the pivot, it fails to connect using the same references.  I cannot figure out why.If I use the assy constraints and uncheck the 'allow assumptions' box, even though it generates no errors, it still will not move if I attempt to drag it.  During the assy I can hold ALT-Ctrl and drag it just fine, but not once it's assembled.Any idea how I can figure out what's wrong here?Doug Schaefer
