I just started playing around with WF3, and the new measure command onlydisplays two decimal places on the model. The dialog box displays fourdecimals. Does anyone know how to change the screen display?Thanks,Chris

Dear All, I have checked the document in http://www.ptc.com/products/productview/3d-cad-formats.htm (ProductView Collective Document Support). It should be supported to open corel Draw file *.cdr in ProductView. But the result is not ok. Please help me on this if possible. Thanks, Simon

Quick question regarding section cuts. When I cut a section through a ProE Wildfire model in ProductView, the resulting section cut looks like I cut through surfaces instead of solids. Does anyone know if the section can be made to look more like cutting through solids? I have to do a lot of reviews with folks who don't/can't "see" what the section is showing because it looks hollow. I think this may simply be a setting in ProE, but I am not certain.... Any help would be appreciated as it would save me some frustration and explanation. Thanks

I want to FEA on a pin in a landing gear. When I went into mechanica, I accidentally checked off the box next to FEM mode. I didn't save and opened on another computer and it somehow I'm still opening in this mode. Now I don't know how to get out of this mode. Can anyone help?

I wanted to follow up with my posting (below) on this topic to tell everyone that is interested, if you don't already know, that the Wildfire 5 What's New (Release Notes) document has been posted on the PTC website.Now that this is available, and everyone has some reference material to all the enhancements in Wildfire 5, hopefully you can see beyond just the interface changes that have been made, and get a sense of some of the functionality improvements I mentioned below.I hope to be reading more postings on the exploder about WF5 soon, even about the interface, because your postings/discussions help me and other TC Chairs push PTC for continuous improvements to PRO/E.Link to Release Notes on PTC:

Anyone know how to do this? I searched the Knowledge Base and Help Topicpdfs with no luck. In Wildfire 2.0, one can do a View, Orientation,Orient Mode, right click, Velocity, middle click, drag, hold, and themodel will spin continuously. PView 8.0 M010/040 Normally if you switch to FULL SCREEN you get the FULL SCREEN MENU BAR shown. This doe not work any more, so i do not get the FS MENU BAR. It does not help to activate the MENU BAR while normal view. Does anybody know how to activate it again, may in registry?

I finally got some answers from PTC on this one. Here's where we standwith the "Read DB" issue. I opened call #6586146 which led to PTCacknowledging the problem, but stated "this is intended functionality".The XML tool files were not intended to go into sub-folders only at"pro_mf_tprm_dir" level. It was recommended that an enhancement requestbe submitted. FYI, Enhancement Request #6596086 Has Been Submitted. Mike Bills
