Does anyone know how to make an average of multiple scans? I have scans multiple objects and now I want to make an average of these scans.... who can tell me if this is possible?

I am trying to set a new working directory, but it doesn't change. I believe I'm doing everything right, but why does the old network directory stay as the default once I open Pro/E? Anyone have any ideas?

Mapkey Gurus,I have a mapkey for storing that first purges and then saves. It has worked for many years of releases but now in WF2 (M090) it doesn't pick up the "OK" that would complete the save. In the past two semicolons together was the equivilant of "return". I've tried manually placing that at the end of the mapkey definition and it still doesn't work. I even created a mapkey that just recorded me picking the "OK" button on the save dialogue box and called it "test". After I start my save mapkey and it stops just shy of the "OK" then I type "test" and sure enough the "OK" button gets pressed and the save is complete. OK so now all I have to do is copy the working contents of the mapkey "test" onto the end of my "st" (store) mapkey. Still doesn't work. The tech support guy has filed a new SPR on this issue, hopefully to getit fixed in WF3 instead of having to wait until WF4.

I'm trying to use a nested mapkey for a new mapkey. Each one works separately, but for some reason on the new mapkey the nested one doesn't run. Any ideea? Thank you, M

hi, Suppose i need to give theta rotation using a cylindrical cordinate system for a hollow cylindrical shaft, the result animation shows for scale 1 as if the body's diameter increased, though the displacements in other directions are arrested. Is it possible to animate a complete 360 deg rotation in FEA?suresh

I did run ProE but it does not have shown on my desktop, I did check at the Task Manager and the application is running but still do not have the application after hours of waiting. Have anybody had this problem before? it seems that there is a process running backwards and does not allow ProE to run.

Is there a way to force Pro/E to use the current existing session whenopening a model from windows explorer aside from drag and drop? My xp already upto sp2

... and it is supposed to support Vista. My computer runs Vista and sometimes ProE takes forever to repaint. The problem is the other ProE workstations are running XP and our usual practice is to keep us all on the same datecode as we have had probs before reading files with different datecodes. So should we all update to M090 - IOW does it work on XP too? Or if I am the only one to go to M090 could we have trouble filesharing?

What is the best program to view pro-e files, preferably free? I've tried product view express, and just isn't enough! Is there any program that can recognize the simplified representations? Thanks
